If so, please share them with me. I'm constantly surrounded by manipulative people who betray or try to take advantage of me. I need protection and guidance on how to deal with this. If scriptures have not helped bring you some comfort, what has helped you get through times like this?

10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

12Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Here is A Psalm of David."I said, "I will guard my ways, that I may not sin with my tongue; I will guard my mouth with a muzzle, so long as the wicked are in my presence." I was mute and silent; I held my peace to no avail, and my distress grew worse. My heart became hot within me.

As I mused, the fire burned; then I spoke with my tongue: "O LORD, make me know my end and what is the measure of my days; let me know how fleeting I am! Behold, you have made my days a few handbreadths, and my lifetime is as nothing before you. Surely all mankind stands as a mere breath! Selah. Psalms 39:1-5

David knew what it was like to be around the type of people you describe and he kept silent until he could cry out to God and remember that these things were just brief moments in a short life but that he had all eternity with God waiting ahead of him.

Psalm 23: 5 says, "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies."

IT's saying that God allows you to be calm and peaceful even if there are people around you are tryin to destroy you.

Psalm 3: 3 says " For thou, O Lord are a shield about me; you're my glory and the lifter of my head."

That's just a few. If you go through Psalms, you'll find so many.

God Bless you

Make friends who are Jehovah's Witnesses. Trust me, they are the most caring, loving people on earth right now. They will help you find any scriptures you want and they will never intentionally hurt or harm you in any way.
