If the Bible was true, wouldn't the world have ended 900 years ago?

1 John 2.22 says that all who don't proclaim Jesus is the son of God are the anti-Christ. Isn't the whole thing with Revelation that the anti-Christ was supposed to reign 1000 years and then the rapture was supposed to come?
Since I'm still alive and there were non-Christians 1900 years ago, either one of two or three things is true.

1. The one John quote isn't to be taken literally,

2. The whole thing where the anti-Christ reigns for 1000 years isn't to be taken literally.

3. The Bible can't be taken word for word, what else can't we take word for word? Leviticus 18:22? 1 Kings 7:23?

In a split second the entire Quaran was revealed to Prophet Muhammed, is this so?

If this is so, what is the proof of this and how is the world suppose to accept this with no events of duration? It would be just one man's word that we must all just accept.

What to do about immature co-workers?

I work in a professional setting, yet some co-workers act like they're still in high school. Two women who sit very near me spend the majority of their day acting like snotty 16 year olds - they're both in their mid 40's! They gossip and make fun of others. I try to ignore them, but they are terribly distracting with their constant whispering and giggling.

Any suggestions on how to handle them? Should I tell their boss? Should I tell Human Resources because this goes against our code of ethics?

my friend has went into a religious mode, what do i do?

whenever we talk they put jesus into the scenario or situation. I want to share in this person life but they make feel like i am a devil because i am not as spiritual or share the same beliefs, will this become a obstacle for our friendship or should i just pray?

Have you heard about it being illegal to feed homeless people in parks?

Seriously, right now I wish I lived there as I am feeling defiant and would love to be arrested for this. What was I thinking homeless people should go to Mickie D's like everyone else that or a fine French restaraunt right? What are your thoughts?

Xians? Do you think the 12th Imam & Islam's Jesus Christ is going to be the beast & false prophet?

I think so. Also am concerned Muslims will take the mark in their forhead, if they don't receive the true Jesus Christ written about in the Bible.

I see Islamic prophecy as a big trapset. They believe Israel will be destroyed. Yet the Bible writes that God is against those who are against Israel & Israel will be there during the 1000 year reign of Christ. Egypt, Israel & Asyria is how Isaiah prophecied.

Do you also see a big trapset for the Muslim people?
