Anti-Christs.

You are correct. I'm glad someone else reads the Bible. Anyone who does not believe that Jesus is the son of God is an Antichrist. It is clearly stated in the First & Second John. The word Antichrist is never used in the book of Revelation. People just assume the "Beast" is the Antichrist, (Which he will be an Antichrist, but not "THE" Antichrist...there are millions of Antichrist). I would never defend an Atheist. I will try to spread the word of God to them, but that is all I am required to do according to my religious background.

Methuselah,
"As a Christian would you defend the Anti-Christ?"
No.

"Then why would you defend an Atheist?"
I'm not sure what you mean. If something is being done to them that is wrong, then they should be defended, not because they are being an Atheist, but because there is something bad happening to them.

"They are in fact Anti-Christs."
They may be by some views that they hold. But I will not be as the Pharisee passing by the robbed and beaten man. Rather why not be as the Samaritan who helped him?

As a non-christian, I would defend Christ, since he stood by a set of values poo-pooed by all societies. Values thst should have set the standards for any society. If he had not said those timeless soundbytes, perhaps some other Joshua would have stood by the roadside and shouted ' the emperor is naked!',
but that makes him all the bigger because even when he could have passed the buck, like we all do, he stood his ground, oh yeah, that man just stood there like a wild west hero and took every bullet before going down. Some way to go!

I wont be able to defend the anti-christ, when he comes to settle the Middle-East, I'll be gone, because Christ is going to take away all Christians before the ant-christ comes.

I have no need to either defend nor attack him. My call is to follow the Lord Jesus Christ. That has nothing to do with the anti-Christ. He'll do his own thing. God will give him a short leash and when he has done what he will do, God will pull the rug out from under him. That's all there is to that poor lost soul.

Has nothing to do with me, really.

Yes I am a Christian and an American. I will defend anyones rights until the time they violate someones else's rights. Atheists I see here are still mostly citizens of free nations and deserve to be heard as much as anyone else. I will stand at their side to defend their liberty and their questionable choices. As for me and my house we will serve the Lord...

"The anti christ" and "a anti christ" are two, completely different things. You can use the same argument on jesws, they are also not christian. If you believe that just because someone does not beliive in God or Christ that they are bad people, you seriously have a problem.

Ya, but the Antichrist doesn't have the option of changing his mind. There is no hope for him. Here on earth I would defend an Atheists right to be an Atheist--like God, it's their freedom of choice. I wouldn't defend their belief, of course.

If you read the bible, it tells us to challenge the spirits of an individual to see if they are indeed a child of god and have the doctrine of Jesus.

The bible also tells us when someone sins, for them to be saved they must repent (stop committing that sin) and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.

If a person refuses to repent, we are to stay away from them, so we are not tempted. Jesus will give everyone a chance to hear the gospel, repent of their sins and believe in Jesus.

If they refuse, there fate is sealed. You can lead a horse to the water but you can't make them drink. They won't unless they get thirsty. God has his ways of making someone thirsty. but some people will refuse to drink even though they are dying of thirst.

Sometimes god sends us to someone to witness to them and leave. We are to just plant the seed. Then someone else comes along and witnesses to them again and another yet again, but sooner or later no more will be sent and there day of judgment will come.

I defend anyone regardless of their labels and I believe Christ would do the same. I am to love everyone and consider everyone my neighbor. Where in the Bible does it say "Except Atheists"?
