Man, u got lot of answers to that. I had a wife. I lived w/ the same person 24/7. I got a child. And u can get tired of your own country. I don't think you're mentally disturbed. Where did u move to?

Why is that selfish? If you do not like that lifestyle, you have the right to change it. No one else should tell you what your doing is wrong. If your not happy getting married and living in the UK, then to do so would be selfish... because you would be living an un-happy life and putting another person through it too. Don't listen to anyone else, let them say what they want, people just have nothing better to do.

I didn't see you that so negatively. Well, not that you are mentally disturbed. Perhaps, it's just that you are a unique person who wishes a fast paced life. Fast paced in the sense that no person should repeat himself in your presence. Don't worry a lot of people no longer want a wife nor children, therefore you are not alone. However, if more and more people think there's really something wrong with you and it's not in any way related to your career then perhaps do try seeing a psychologist just so to professionally know yourself.

Dont put yourself down.
Congratulations on actually knowing what you do and dont like as well as being realistic enough to be able to pin point your faults - this should make you a more content person, so dont let others tell you otherwise.
If it works for you, and you are happy with your life, sod everyone elses opinions.

Nah, different strokes for different folks. Why would you want to settle for those things if you don't want them? It would just hurt a lot of people in the long run. Besides, you didn't say where you moved to? Are you in America? According to most of the lunatics on here, We are all selfish and mentally disturbed.
So WELCOME!!! lol

No, I don't think you are selfish, instead I think you are unselfish. forcing yourself to settle down with someone, you will only hurt her at the end of the day, I got many friends (age 35+ to 40) that wish to stay single and enjoyed freedom. Sometime, I kind of envy them...

No, you are not mentally disturbed. You know what you want and don't want. At least you didn't get married, had kids, and then toss them aside because it wasn't what you wanted. Bravo for not ruining the lives of others. You're OK.

Probably to some degree. We all are at different times and in different situations. The key is do you recognize it and can you take steps to get things back on a more normal track.

i think youve got the right idea, too many people have failed marriages and children all over the place because they tried to do the "right thing" but at the end of the day it was the "wrong thing" for them anyway sounds like you know what you want good for you.

Hey, if you are genuinely happy and hurting no one, nope. Since you asked, though, it sounds like your running from yourself. Mentally disturbed... still not, but you might try to figure it out.
