If this is so, what is the proof of this and how is the world suppose to accept this with no events of duration? It would be just one man's word that we must all just accept.

no..the Qur'an was sent down in a period of 23 yrs, the yrs of prophethood, his first revelation was the surah Iqra' from ayat 1-5.The qur'an was sent down from when Muhammad is 40 untill he dies..the revelation comes down when it is needed..the revelation that Muhammad is only the messenger and a human and can die was sent down during Uhud bcoz Muslims might think that Muhammad is Immortal becoz in Uhud someone says that Muhammad died. And regarding spoils of war after the battle of badr..there are more to it, read the book Muhammad, man and prophet and read regarding asbabubnuzul(the reason of revelation)

To think the Quran is just like the bible is ignorant.

The Quran was revealed in bits and pieces, written down and memorized by the Companions of the Prophet as it was revealed.
The verses were revealed over a period of 23 years,i.e 10 years in Mecca and 13 years in Medina. The sequence of verses revealed was very much relevant to events that was taking place during those period.

As soon as a verse was revealed,Muhammad would instruct the particular verse be place in a particular chapter. This process took place for 23 years.
Every year Muhammad would recite the whole Quran and the Companions will memories too.

As you can see,Muhammad does not read or write .He merely instruct the follower to write what he received and tell them the sequence how these verses should appear in the Quran.

There was no review for editing. The Quran today is the same as the Quran 1400 years ago to the very letter.

Unlike the bible, there were a lot of documents written by early Muslims scholars regarding the chronology of the revelation and its relevent. It is still available today. There is no reasons to doubt.

remember that prophet muhammed(pbuh) was an illetrate. and people even then and people even today r flabbergasted so as 2 how he said such peotry overnight. well thats called jelousy and insecurity.

and dont 4get if god has chosen u then he can turn u in a king of the world or if god wishes ull b in the worst state. Allah knows best.

the arch angel gabriel(as) used 2 bring god's revelations and prophet used 2 memorise it. since he did not know 2 write he would ask his companions of faith 2 write it down.

no quran was sent over a period of 22 years, 5months and 14days.

exactly the same as muhammed's(pbuh) prophethood.the chapters were revealed both in mecca and medina.

the first verse was 96:1-5, when he was 40yrs old, in caves of mount hira

"read in the name of thy Lord wh created.
created man from a clot of blood.
read, ur Lord is Most Genorous. who taught u by pen.
taught man wat he did not know"

the last verse was revealed shortly b4 prophet's death 5:3 in mecca

"this day i have perfected ur religion 4 u, completed my favors for u, and hav chosen islam as ur way of life"

what?!! r u asking these questions just for the point, or do u really dont know? Quran was revealed to Prophet Mohammad (May Blessing and Peace of ALLAH be Upon Him) in a time span of 23 yrs, NOT a split second.

No Mo hammed was a middle aged business man who spent a lot of time 'meditating' in solitude in a cave for years if memory serves.

If I did the same thing and popped out with a book one day saying that it just magically appeared only the truly stupid would think I wasn't a liar.
