I'm an Atheist myself but I was wondering: is there evil in this world?

we all have evil in us, one of the many things that separate us from the animals, but i believe it comes from within not from satan. that's who people blame it on when they don't want to take responsibility for their actions.

As an athiest you might have known that every atom has a positive and negative. So evil is the negative force of good which is a positive force. You look at yourself you can find those negative forces in you too.

i dont think there is evil in the context of a supernatural being that is evil- but there is definatly "evil" that exists in everyone. It's when we do something that is wrong that we know is wrong. That is evil

Evil comes from within, if you do something take responsibility for yourself and learn. People who don't do this perpetuate evil.

evil as in spirits? demons? ghosts? satan?
to that i say no.
i don't think there's evil in the world, if when you say evil you mean a conscious entity going around and whispering bad things in people's ears. but i do think people are idiots. that's where bad things come from, people f*cking other people up.

can i ask YOU a question....does cold exist???no it actually doesnt...cold is a word discibing wut we feel when there is no heat...it is defined as lack of heat....you measure cold by how much heat is or isnt present.....0 kalvin is the time of absalute no heat....not 100% cold
now another one...does darkness exist??no...like cold it is the lack of light in a room....how do you tell how much darkness is in a room?by how much light is or isnt present....we can take a single strand of light and illuminate and entire room with bewtons prism b/c it adds light to a nonlit area
a final question to the point....does evil exist??no...or at least not onto itself....evil is like darkness or cold....it is measured by the lack of God in an area....how do we measure evil?by how much God isnt there....look in the middle east...there is close to absolute NO God there and look at the middle east condition....America has a little God left in it but it is draining and you can see America Drain away to evil everyday with abortion and homosexual relationships....hoped i helped....you can email me at skate_flip_adio@yahoo.com

Evil? I guess that depends on what you mean. There are people who will do what this morally wrong. There are those who will act to the detriment of mankind.
