What this shows is that you don't have any comprehension of what the bible actually says. The bible never says the anti-christ will rule for 1000 years, he only gets 7 years, but it does say that Christ will rule for 1000 years, directly after the final wrath. You should really understand what it is you're tying to use to turn people from God. Talking nonsense that doesn't make any sense whatsoever just isn't gonna cut it. What John is saying is that basically, you're an anti-christ.

All fables and moral stories - that's what the Bible is made of. Most of it is meant to be taken metaphorically. The only reason some of it has LITTLE historic accuracy is because the people of that time incorporated events into the moral stories. They took real life events and included morals. Much like the public service ads we see today.

The Bible gives us a SPIRITUAL truth. By reading the Bible and studying it's teachings it help us to understand God's message to man and his invitation (not mandate) to join Him. The Bible cannot be taken as a scientific or chronologically accurate document but it's value cannot be dismissed just because of that.

The bible is a compilation of old jewish bedtime stories. Some have a little historical value, and most have nice morals imbedded in them somewhere. But, at the end of the day, it is just a book with stories in it. Nothing more

Verses with lengths of time attached to them -- 6 days, 1,000 years, etc. -- generally are metaphors.
But Leviticus 18:22 has no length of time in it, and no metaphor.
Its words are crystal clear in that a certain behavior -- in this case, homosexuality -- is forbidden. Period.
Also, verses with lengths of time attached to them generally are not of the "moral prohibition" variety. But Lev 18:22 is.
So ... bad analogy, Jim.

Actually, the world did end 900 years ago. What we are living is the result. You live, you die. It's never ending. The process is the same. It is the experience that differs.
