White people are always saying black women are welfare queens and teenage mothers. Look at the facts. Most women who are on "welfare" are not african american. And there is no such thing as welfare anymore. Welfare ended about a decade ago. Also the birth rate of unmarried black teens is steadily declining. Several studies show black women are among the most educated people in the nation. How long do we have to live with the sterotype that we are welfare queens, especially when THERE IS NO WELFARE ANYMORE!!!

If your not religious, then what does marriage mean to you? During the ceremony, everything has to do with the couple and being one under god... if you dont believe in god, is marriage wrong? What does it mean to those who arent religious?

I notice a lot of biblical prophecies seem to be just vague guesses about what could or couldn't happen. Like this one: "There will be wars and rumors of wars" I think that is a pretty obvious statement. I could say that in 100 there would be wars and rumors of wars and it would most likely come out as true.
Also, saying things like there would be famine and tsunamis. There have alwasy been!

It just seems like it was a guessing game.

When a Christian asks a question, just out of curiousity, about another religion no one implies that they are, in their heart, unsatisfied or questioning their own religion (unless it is obvious and stated within the question they asked).

Yet when a non-Christian asks a question, just out of curiousity, about a Christian belief or something that is in the bible, then it is assumed the non-Christian is having second thoughts about their religion and chosen beliefs or that they are unsure and just confused?

Why the double standard?

here's where i am in life. so please tell me if im a loser or not. because where im from im considered one.

im 27, i dont own property, i dont know how to drive, i've never had sex, i've had 3 girlfriends in my life up to this point all of them who loved me and i didnt know how to appreciate them, im single now, i've got like only 15,000 bucks in the bank to my name, im ok health-wise, i dont have a college degree, but i got a job here in new york all on my own, and i may end up going to LA for another job, i dont have a lot of friends, but in all my life i've always had at least one that was close to me.

Muslims in West take much care and pain to avoid pork meat as it is forbidden in Islam.they are very obedient to Islamic commannd ,but at the same time they pay no heed to other Commandments like staying away from more serious sins ,e.g-adultry,gambling ,drinking,tax evasion ,etc.May be in Pork matter they have alternatives of other Meats and no alternative in serious sins?

There's never any major voice from Islam telling them to stop, just like no voice from Islam denounces the terrorism being done worldwide in the name of their religion. But they say this is the True religion, so how can they let such attrocities happen within their religion and stay silent?
Far more Sunnis and Shiites have died in Baghdad and Iraq in the last few years than the whole Northern Ireland conflict -- yet in that situation the leaders took an active stance to make it stop.

How did all these species come to be and there are more everyday being discovered everyday if everything was destroyed during the Great Flood? The ark was only the size of a football field perhaps? How did such a small family keep the pedators from eating prey. Penguins walked off and made there way south with polar bears and swamp critters made their way to warm swamps?
