It's not just White teenagers that do this. White adults do it as well. Some Whites feel that they will be accepted by Blacks if they imitate what they THINK we are all about. All Blacks do not speak slang, wear baggy clothing, act loud and ghetto and so forth. But when a Black person acts with decency and common sense, then we are accused by our own kind and even Whites of trying to act White. It's a lose-lose situation. And its ashame that every time you go on a job interview as a Black person, you have to "act White", pray, cross your fingers and kiss the receptionist's azz just to get a shot at making a good impression. I see that a certain Yahoo Answerer has a problem with Blacks acting with common sense from her answer like Whites are the only ones with civilization. Try being Black for one day and see how far you get acting ghetto azz hell.

I definitely have that situation as nicely, a great variety of the black females I definitely have come for the time of have this ghetto attitude and act like a black stereotype. I hated it and by no ability hung around females like that. I purely have some close black acquaintances that don't act that way and its unhappy that extra black people don't understand that being super and conversing english appropriate isn't a white element. a number of my non-black acquaintances accuse me of appearing white, yet its worse whilst a black individual does it with the aid of fact it sends out a message to the different races that asserts, "howdy, black people do no longer act like this and we are asserting so".

Some of them were raised in "Black" surroundings and that's all they know. They are the ones that don't act it; it's in them. They are who we call "wiggers".
I figure that if you want to adopt our culture, don't talk about us behind our backs.
Hey, they have their own broken languages and things of that nature as does every race or nationality.
As for the acting hard stuff, I guess they don't realize that we don't think every black guy that acts hard is hard. I hope they don't believe that we love that type of stuff cause we don't. Grow out if it and be a man. Be real; be yourself.
Embrace the culture if that's what you want to do, but don't disrespect it.

Imitation is the best flattery. I think it's funny and I laugh right in the "Tyrone Edeline's" faces. I laugh at the "Bumquisha Simpsons" too. But I wouldn't say our slang was "dorky" or that our speech patterns are terse.

They bother me. Be who you are!
I think it's sad that it's "uncool" to be white. I've been verbally attacked on the city bus and even on the street for having blonde hair and fair skin, have been on the outskirts of my social group for years because I don't talk like dis, yo, and because I choose to respect my superiors (bosses, teachers, etc.) in a manner that is apparently "anti-black."
I should point out that I'm of Polish descent - as far as I know, I don't have any black in me anywhere. So why should I have to act black to fit in? That's racist.

Yes it's annoying but they're just the product of the advertising machine and pop culture. I'm pretty sure the majority of them will grow out of it have families and become middle class businessmen. If not then God help us all. LOL.

It is worse when black people try to act white, by not going to jail, going to work on time, using proper English, wearing Vanz skater shoes with dressy cothing, now that is what bothers us.

it is pretty funny to watch but after a continuous use of "whatup playa?" and the like...ya it gets obnoxious.
personally...i do use alot of black slang unconsciously sorry to say. its just become part of our american culture. and the cool thing to do. i think its more of a compliment to the black culture. everyone wants to be like them!
i think its more hilarious when asian guys try and act black though. cracks me up everytime.
