Why is liberation theology more popular in Latin America? Is it because of the different economic situations?

The west bank is in Palestinian territory and im wondering which country jerusalem is in now, cus i cant figure it out, i looked at a map and it shows that most of it, is in Palestinian territory, does anyone know if the city is split or which country its in now?

okay, i'm not a lesbian and i'm not a pervert, but what is this feeling? now i'm uncomfortable around her and feel something sexual. i feel horrible, she's my little sister (she's 16, i'm 19) and looks up to me.....i feel like this is the most awful betrayal of her to feel this way. HELP

First, anyone can post anything, only those answers that follow the rules have a chance at Best Answer.

Second, "God works in mysterious ways" and similar answers are null statements. They are equivalent to saying "I don't know" and thus eliminate themselves from the contest.

Rules are clear?

All you have to do is explain why God did what he did in a selected verse, and why you approve of His choice.

Try this one: I Corinthians 14: 34-35
To quote Paul (oft-quoted for his disapproval of homosexuality):
34 "Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law."
35 "And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church."

To those of you who came out to your friends and/or family about being gay, was it something you thought about and planned or did you just bring it up in friendly conversation out of the blue? The reason I ask is because I was watching Inside Edition with my parents tonight and of course the top story was about Lance Bass....so with me being in the closet still it was awkward sitting there watching this and at the end my mom said that it's good that he's happy with being himself....i feel like i should have said something, but i felt rather caught off guard. I'm seriously ready to start coming out...I'm going to start with my brother next week and move onto mom and then to a select few friends....but I don't know if planning the whole event is just going to make it harder. I was talking with one of my friends on the phone today and felt like blurting it out of no where, but I don't have the balls to do that lol (no pun intended)

I have several stamped envelopes (the stamps are current values), and I'd like to reuse the stamps. Is there a way to get the stamps off the envelopes so that I can reuse them? They have not gone through the postal system and have absolutely no marking on them.
