okay, i'm not a lesbian and i'm not a pervert, but what is this feeling? now i'm uncomfortable around her and feel something sexual. i feel horrible, she's my little sister (she's 16, i'm 19) and looks up to me.....i feel like this is the most awful betrayal of her to feel this way. HELP
i asked this a couple days ago but didnt get much help and the feeling hasn't gone away.....

Can't say it is VERY common but does happen. It is part of human nature to hold a sexual attracion to any member
of your closest family circle. However, on most people this happens on an unconcious level. You can look it up, the most common of this is known as Oedipus Syndrome.
What you experience with your sister is basically two things:
- Normal sexual curiosity!
-Arousal of this part of your unconciouss by that curiosity.
Try to put it out of your mind, distract yourself with something else, but DON'T feel guilty about it, feeling guilty will only make you want it more.
Try to masturbate even, but not focused on her, do it to DISCHARGE that sexual urge you're feeling.

probably just a sexual erge if u claim not to be a lesbian....although have u ever been with a woman? i hope u do know theres nothing wrong with it, if u are lesbian.
sometimes though we just get toey and have these feelings out of the blue, i wouldnt panic about it and i wouldnt feel ashamed if i was u ( u can feel ashamed if u slept with a family member).I'd say it was just a passing thing and nothing to worry about, youre 19 and at an age where u r sexually aware and curious, so let it ride and dont beat urself up over it.

If this continues to bother you, I hope you will see a GOOD counselor...not because I think you are crazy or sick...but because it happened to you and you are upset. I am not a professional, nor are any of the OTHER idiots of this site,(a little humor) If this continues to make you miserable, you owe it to yourself to seek the advice of a professional. Good luck. Whatever you do, do NOT seek your sister for sexual reasons. As bad as you are feeling now, she would be screwed up for life.

well I'll attempt.....be honest w/yr self ok.?..do you have a secret? and are not exploring that in a mature manner? are you delving into porno lately? are you sexually active? these are the questions you must ask your self.....incest is alive and always been around. are you a pervert or are you a voyeur? feelings are not necessarily facts.
where we get into "trouble" is when we act on those feelings. where might you be with that? name calling, labeling and heaping guilt on oneself does not do any one any good. all i can say is.....check it out.

Talk to a professional about this feeling. I do not think it is normal. I would also stay away from her because if you do anything she will have emotional scars the rest of her life.
