If so, I'm building a website and I'm looking for conversion stories to the LDS faith. This would include reactivation and regaining your testimonies. I'm also looking to post links to pro-lds websites (already have the two official sites and FAIR covered). If you could send any other links my way with stories and apologetic information on them, that would be great! You can send stories/experiences links etc. to Justinodhans@hotmail.com

Religion in any form has done great things for the human race. Without it, in my opinion, we would not have come as far as we have. There would be no law, no civilization as most people would have had nothing to live for. We would have not grown as a society. Even the wars religion has caused have helped us advance in society and have made way for great as well as terrible inventions. Can the religious and the non religious agree on this? I hope to hear each side.

Rastafarians believe it does make one closer to God and although I don't know much about their faith, I think they might be on to something. In your faith or personal experiences, have you felt closer to knowing something about God or the divine by smoking herb? Do we need to break out the peace pipe at the next UN powwow?

-Till two big groups fight each other whereupon there will be a great number of casualties on both sides and they will be following one and the same religious doctrine...

-Till about thirty Dajjals (liars) appear, and each one of them will claim that he is Allah's Apostle,

-Till the religious knowledge is taken away (by the death of Religious scholars) . Earthquakes will increase in number. Time will pass quickly, Afflictions will appear, Al-Harj, (i.e., killing) will increase,

-Till the people compete with one another in constructing high buildings, (how did he knows?)

-Till the sun rises from the West. So when the sun will rise and the people will see it (rising from the West) they will all believe (embrace Islam) but that will be the time when: (As Allah said,) 'No good will it do to a soul to believe then, if it believed not before, nor earned good (by deeds of righteousness) through its Faith.' What do you focus on? How can you focus on nothing when you are praying to the God of the universe? Doesn't your imagination play any part in this at all? Do you think about nothing when you focus or do you focus on nothing? Do you pray about nothing? Is God able to become nothing for those who pray? Is imagination a bad thing, since it was given to us by God?

Matthew 7:6 (Jesus talking)

"Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces."

I've never really thought about it before, but my mormon friend was telling me how he took an oath of secrecy for a lot of things in his religion and he used the verse as his explination of why.
what he says seems logically sound, but I don't believe it and it doesn't feel right for some reason. I don't believe that Jesus is saying that we have to be silent about something in our faith and i don't believe that he's excluding people from Heaven (as pearls have been representative of heaven in other verses). So what is he saying?

the verses sbefore it talk about judging others, but I don't see how this fits in with those.

someone help me with this.

ps. I'm not mormon, I'm protestant christian. so I'd like to hear other protestant christian responses, though anyone is certainly welcome.

I was in canada recently on a conoe trip and one night at about 9 pm (remember 9 pm) my crew decided to change our rout so we would go farther north than originally planned. The next day we ran into a crew of girls who the night before had one person slip on a rock while carrying a canoe and her spinal chord landed directly on a rock and she couldn't move here legs. Our crew made a stretcher for her and got her evacuated. (Heres the weird part) While talking to the girls' leader, we found out that the girl had been injured at about 9 pm the night before.

Tell me what you think, Personally I think that God directed us to that crew because in the area we were in the nearest town was about 100 miles away.
