As a fellow bi person, it can be tough sometime when people assume. I would just slide something into casual conversation when you first meet someone like "My ex-boyfriend used to love abstract art" or something. You don't have to make it into a big coming out thing, just casually slide it in like you would a comment about an ex girlfriend. If someone asks you if you are gay, confirm that you're bi. And frankly, people will probably talk about you a little behind your back, so just let them do the work for you. That way when you mention a cute guy, you can just assume that everyone knows.

Everyone doesn't need to know. But you can speak up and tell people you are offended when they tell gay-bashing jokes, you can support organizations like the Human Rights Campaign (www.hrc.org) and display their logo on your car or computer. You can tell a few trusted friends, and let them know that it's not a big secret, they'll spread the word.

You could wear a sign or a label that is easy to read. I'm sure those who can read will not have any trouble recognizing you!

First, of all people do not need to know ... the only persons that need to know are your close friends and close family members and anyone with whom you will be have a sexual relationship with. ... So please be selective who you tell ...
COMING OUT OF THE CLOSET IS A SLOW PROCESS.

Does it matter if people know what you do in the privacy of your own bedroom?
