I got pulled by the cops the other day and he knew I wasn't really crying so I got a ticket. How can I better fake cry to get things my way?

I believe that the free love of the 60's and the other events that occured during that time frame are the cause of where we are today with abortions, and single mothers, the high divorce rates and everything else. If you compare what life was like in the 50's and 40's and how everything was to what it was like during the 60's and on it all makes for a good cause in my opinion....what are your thoughts?

I noticed that when asian people speak english they are soft spoken but in their native tongue the volume seems to be above average. Is this just an effect of the way the words sound? Anyone else notice this?

Why did Jesus refer to himself as "The Son of Man" when Numbers 23:19 says "God is not a man, that he should lie, neither the Son of Man, that he should repent, and Psalm 146:3 says "Put not your trust in princes, nor in the Son of Man, in whom there is no help".?

I always here these things about christians in the following: They are evil, cultist, satan lovers, scared, crazy, and "vagina". I just won't to know who the true christians are that do these things? Please only answer this if you hate christians, and answer in as serious as possible. Seeing how I'm a preacher, I would like to know more about these so called "christians"

just reading so many answers to some of the questions i have come to know that all most all of the christians believes that Bible is written by men (not even by one man). they also accept that if one incident is written by 100 people, the out come is definitely completely different from the original thing/incident. because every one will state it with his own mantalety, own veiws, own style and own logics. after accepting all these things, i wonder how come u all (christians) follow Bible so blindly?& say it's theTruth?
my belief Bible is heavenly book same like Quran. but unfortuantely Bible was changed wid time. whereas Quran is still in its orignal form, even the language is also the same as it was on the very first day. in Quran Allah says, "i take the responsibility of its protection. it will be the same as it is till the end of the world." muslims dont only read Quran bt alot of us learn it by heart. if u destroy all of Quran bks from face of earth it ll still stay in hearts.

the Holy Spirit and other outside influences (be it drug, Lucifer, passions of the flesh, etc)

I have been told that when I read the Bible, I should have the right interpretation when the Holy Spirit lets me know I do. But then, why is the Holy Spirit telling people different things? Have they been deceived?

ok lately ive been hanging around this guy. i like him and he seems to like to hang around me to cuz he calls me and texts me all the time but the thing is i dont know if he is gay or bi. it bugs the hell out of me cuz i wanna know. can someone help me out or give me some advice. i wanna know if he is bi or gey. i cant just ask him cuz that could mess up the friendship ive tried so hard to establish....

I kind of think the old fashioned "stockade," I believe it is called - the board thing where they stick their head through one hole and their hands through holes beside their head. And put them in a public park, and write out what they did to the children they attacked.

It is well-known fact that some people call themselves "Christians" yet do not even live a half an hour of a life of a Christian.

Let us first define Christianity:

Christianity is the life of Christ through the Holy Spirit entering a repentant sinner.Understand that being a born-again (Christian) is a HAPPENING, not a decision to change!!!

The reason for this question is that Y!Answers users would be able to note the differences between these:

Do we call these people Christians?

1.A person who used to be in a church that never experienced the Holy Spirit.
2.A backslidden Christian.
3.A backsliding Christian.
4.A person who knows the bible.
5.A person who is deluded about certain Christian facts.
6.A person who studied theology and calls himself/herself a Christian
7.A person who grew up in Christian church.
8. A person who is a good user of religious words.
9. A person who was never filled with the Holy Spirit.

Do we accept these as Christians?

I think 90% of people in the world today are challenging God (for various reasons)and saying send me to hell if you will.

Is that true?
And if its true, what a pathetic condition!

Many Christ Cultists claim that religion (particularly the Christ Cult variety) is needed to give people a moral compass. Atheists are viewed more negatively than any group in the United states because they lack morals and cant be trusted or some such..

So are we to believe that your belief in Christianity is the only thing keeping you all from robbing , murdering and Rape?

Looking around I see plenty of so called Christians killing, stealing and Raping. So what gives? Without the Jesus mumbo jumbo would all of you be running amok (worse than you are now)?

The Bible is a complicated work. Verses that are metaphors, some that are literal, diffrent laws for diffrent people. Okay, good. So why is people drop a verse here, and a verse there, and dont bother to read them in Context. Dont you realize doing that is like picking up a copy of "Pride and Predjudice" , reading a single line on each page, and thinking you know whats going on!

To understand the Bible, to see it fit together, and come together accuratley, you have to read it as a whole, all verses work together. How many of you verse droppers bother with the rest of a chapter, or book? Bible readers, does it bug you just a little to keep pointing it out, that verses are often taken out of context?

If you want to use the Bible to dispute religion, you should read it first.

Marriage is a religious institution. If the govt. makes an amendment on marriage it will forever link what we deemed should be separate. Are you willing to forego that right and allow the govt. to decide what is sacred and what is not? (other than such things as life which taking a life is infringing on someone else's rights).
