Because it's ultimately a scam. Success is only achieved by using others to increase your personal profits. Bottom line, using people is wrong, and even if they come out ahead...somewhere down the line, someone gets screwed. Bad Karma, man.

I'm not sure if that is the case. I think that some, not most, are not willing to join because they do not like the competative nature of these companies.
