Hermie is a hermaphrodite. Born with both male and female sexual organs. Hermie's parents choose at delivery to have her female organs removed. Hermie is raised as a boy and raised in a good home. During no point in Hermie's life does he learn he was born a hermaphrodite.

At the age of 17, Hermie starts to realise "he" is attracted to males and questions his sexuality. Since he is attracted to males, he assumes that he is gay and begins to live his life as a gay man.

Had his parents chosen to remove the male organs from Hermie, and raise Hermie as a girl, no one would condemn Hermie or say that "her" sexual preference was a sin against God. However, since Hermie was raised as a boy, people in "his" neighborhood and in the church have told him he is an abomination unto God.

So, is Hermie really committing a sin, since he was born with both sexual organs and his parents made the "choice" that he would be raised a male?

Ok so I never could quite understand this. Jesus was Jewish. Christianity is very different from Judiasm in several ways. If Jesus celebrated Jewish holidays like passover, why do Christians not follow and keep the same holidays and traditions as their lord? Why do christians not keep kosher like Jesus. Basically why are things so different? I am sorry if I sound ignorant but I am Jewish and always wondered what the answer was to this question.

don't answer unless you've researched it first. seriously. it's very bad to spread information that you're just guessing the answers to. there is only one correct answer, so i'm expected all of the answers to be exactly the same for this.

invariably, some of you will just answer whatever you think is right even though you nothing about this subject. seriously though, that's a bad thing to do. it fills the world with misinformation.

On this site I find the militant Muslims hearkening all the way back to the Crusades to justify their actions today. If the Crusaders were such bad guys (and there is a valid train of thought that their actions were simply in response to Muslim takeover of Holy Lands), then aren't the Islamists just as bad today as the Crusaders were back then?

Ok, i need opinions on a dream i had:

its night Im lost and im far away from home. im in the middle of downtown and im walking near traffic in the pave road near the highway. When i look to my right i see my worst enemy walking next to me. It is so weird and we walk in silence. My enemy reaches her home and walks up the steps she turns to look at me one last time before she goes in her home. then i walk and walk into i reach this house that is so familiar to me so i go inside.where a lady is there cooking in the kitchen. She doesnt seem to notice me or care if im there. I turn toward the livingroom. there is a man there playing with a baby. It seems like a typical house where the mom is in the kitchen cooking and the dad is in the livingroom playing with their son. The dad does notice me and asks me "why did it take you so long to get here?" in that exact moment the baby stands up(wearing diapers) and i follow a few steps behind him as he leads me home.

What does this dream mean?

Most people accept that Easter and Christmas were pagan holidays giving Christian make up by the early Catholic church to attract and convert pagans. The real Christians at that time were being killed off and persecuted.

People say they do Christmas and Easter because it is about Jesus. But all that Ive seen Christmas do is cause feuds, greed, credit card debt, depression, and a lust for worldly treasures. Seriously 99% of the people who celebrate Christmas probably dont even mention Jesus's name. And Easter - what is up with the teeth rotten candy and other weirdness like eggs.

And what is up with Christmas spirit? Whats the point of something that is one day of the year? If its so good you should have that spirit all year.

President Bush addressed the NAACP and he said that racism still exists in America http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060720/ap_on_go_pr_wh/bush_naacp . When you are at home or work or someplace where there are not minorities, how often do you hear other people make prejudiced comments about minorities? Do most people just nod in agreement when somebody spouts off about minorities or do other people stand up and defend minorities in their absence? Most people have sense enough to stay quiet when there are minorities in earshot, but what types of things do you hear when it's just you and family or friends?

Why is it that people always want to knock other people down on here? Everyone knows someone that will "kick someone's ***". People ask questions on their computer that they would never get the heart to ask a person in their face. Grow up! Kids on here act so stupid and I would really like to know why.
