does anyone know the complete number of chapters located in the holy bible(old and new testament combined) without looking up a source on the net.....the quickest response without a source gets the ten points....in other words countem up such as i did the hard way and ur reward will be ten pts........any non-serious answers will result in report of abuse......be serious thanks

there are 66 books in the bible correct....but the question is for the total number of chapters within each of the 66 books.....no correct answer yet

1166 was the closest answer yet....and yes the type of bible does make the difference....i was referring to the KJV or NIV.......but very close...i know....can u figure it out....good luck

Don't know chapters but there are 66 books in the King James,more in the Catholic and Mormon.

You will not get a correct number from any one... it would depend on the "translation" you are reading from. not all "Bibles" divide chapter and verse the same.
