Sorry about using the PC-speak!
I mean, maybe if there are other types of IQ, maybe there is a spiritual IQ too and agnostics just have a low spiritual IQ?

If so, what kind of special assistance should disability services give agnostics to help them get through seminary school?

I'm religious. I believe in the Torah (jewish). And I believe in G-d.

Every hour I see another question here about evolution, usually from religionists, but sometimes from atheists, and, I must confess, they are usually very stupid.

People who point out microevolution to prove evolution, or people who point out that "monkeys are still around" to disprove evolution, obviously do not understand what the evolution debate is all about.

So, before anyone posts any more nobel prize-winning insights into the evolution debate -- be it mindlessly bashing ID, be it pointing out mistakes that darwin made, be it exalting fossil finds, be it debasing the fragmented fossil record -- I suggest they read a book or two about evolution and stop clogging up this section with useless threads and misunderstood facts.

Thank you.

I'm talking about non-'yes or no' questions.

For example...
Asker: Should I paint my house blue or green?
Answerer: Yes.

It doesn't make sense, but it happens all the time.

Are they saying yes to blue or green? Why don't they just say what they mean? Is it that hard to press a couple extra buttons?

He traveled a lot with dozens of women disciples. He is cited as kissing Mary Magdalene while in the public streets. It wasn't acceptable to kiss anyone of the opposite sex, even your wife. This incident caused Jesus problems with those in authority. What do you think?

Unsafe drinking water kills almost ten million people each year, mostly children, from easily preventable illnesses like diarrhea. I'm looking for creative ideas as to how solve the problem, and powerful allies in this fight.

I'm having a Vegas wedding with Jesus, so sorry, but he's taken. Keep your eyes off him ladies! Well actually, its not Jesus, it's his second reincarnation, Tom Cruise! And if Katie Holmes turns up dead in, oh say, Atlanta, don't come crying to me, I didn't do it!

With Bush going to the NAACP(for the first time in nearly 6 YEARS!), don't believe for a second he has America's best interests at hand.

This man only answers to the UNITED CORPORATIONS OF AMERICA, and the GOP is scared sh--less of losing their power in congress this fall.

I am not buying this effort to get votes...does anyone else believe this master of deception?

A person's body is a product of his parents. A person's soul is not the product of his parent's (they are not at all involved in its creation), rather it comes directly from G-d. It therefore follows that the sin of Adam and Eve could taint the product of Adam and Eve (the physical human body of their descendants), but it does not follow that it could taint that which does not derive from them at all (the human soul which comes directly from G-d). It therefore makes sense that the human body will be punished (and all the punishments in Genesis 3 are physical). But it does not make sense that the souls that are breathed into their descendants by G-d can become tainted/damned/needing of salvation as a result of their sin.

I have been dating Lisa for over a month now. And she does not know that I like to wear skirts, dresses, panties, hose, heels etc. In other words I am a straight crossdresser. Should I tell her my secret or keep it to myself? And ladies would you ever date a guy who sometimes dresses in womens clothes from head to toe?

I went to Spain two years ago and stayed a month and a half to take classes for my Spanish minor. I stayed in Madrid with an older woman who had divorced years ago. There was also another student living there who was from Florida and she had been there for almost half a year by the time I came along and we became great friends. She left about a month before I went home, so the remainder of my stay I was alone with my host, which helped me develop my talking and understanding of Spanish even more. It was the most amazing experience of my life. I fell in love with Spain. I would love to go back some day. Has anyone else had a wonderful experience visiting another country and if so, do you often dream about returning some day? I can't believe how much this experience affected my life and how much I miss Spain.

How can you morons sit there and claim that there are more beligerant questions from Christians on this board than there are beligerant questions from Atheists? This is why it is so hard for me to respect you guys.

Now, obviously, there are plenty of honorable, reasonable Atheists out there. Obviously this fact clearly does not apply to them..... but it is equally obvious that there is a remarkable number of them that DO qualify and many of them come in here daily and post some of the most ignorant questions and snide remarks (disguised as answers) I've ever seen.

Moron. Count the stupid questions. There are more beligerant questions from Atheists than there are from Christians. Many of those Questions come from the same people every day up to the maximum allowance of questions. These same guys give the most offensive answers any time someone asks a question that opposes their view. My assessment is accurate. Deal with it.

If you don't notice that it's cause you don't want to.

If you practicing it, can you tell me honestly you are blessed financially, abundantly? My faith is shaken, I see so many rich people yet they are not tithing. I myself experincing big financial loss wonder if God tell me to tithe? Is God able to turn around my financial condition? Can you pray for me so I am not desperate again and live in suffering? Honest and serious advice only. Thanks.

I have recurring dreams involving huge tidal waves coming at me. In one dream I am in a hotel on the coast whose walls are made completely out of glass. I watch the tidal waves coming from the horizon and feel scared and grab onto something, but the huge wave just crashes over the hotel not breaking the glass and I can see drowning people banging against the glass, which is quite disturbing. In the other type of recurring dream involving tidal waves I am actually standing on the beach and watch a series of tidal waves coming in, getting bigger each time, and I am trying to run away from them. Last night these waves were even made out of magma and 'sent by aliens to destroy the earth'. I'm pretty convinced that these dreams, teamed with my phobia of deep water, mean I am going to die in a tidal wave or possibly did in a past life, though I am not sure if I believe in that. Does anyone have any thoughts?

If someone looks like he could use a meal, be warned: Giving him a sandwich in a Las Vegas park could land you in jail.

The Las Vegas City Council passed an ordinance Wednesday that bans providing food or meals to the indigent for free or a nominal fee in parks.

The measure is an attempt to stop so-called "mobile soup kitchens" from operating in parks, where residents say they attract the homeless and render the city facilities unusable by families.

The city's new ordinance, which officials could begin enforcing as early as Friday, defines an indigent as a "person whom a reasonable ordinary person would believe to be entitled to apply for or receive assistance" from the government under state law.

Mayor Oscar Goodman, who has been a vocal advocate of cracking down on the homeless in city parks, dismissed questions about how marshals, who patrol city parks, will identify the homeless in order to enforce the ordinance, the violation of which would be a misdemeanor.
