I'm religious. I believe in the Torah (jewish). And I believe in G-d.

Every hour I see another question here about evolution, usually from religionists, but sometimes from atheists, and, I must confess, they are usually very stupid.

People who point out microevolution to prove evolution, or people who point out that "monkeys are still around" to disprove evolution, obviously do not understand what the evolution debate is all about.

So, before anyone posts any more nobel prize-winning insights into the evolution debate -- be it mindlessly bashing ID, be it pointing out mistakes that darwin made, be it exalting fossil finds, be it debasing the fragmented fossil record -- I suggest they read a book or two about evolution and stop clogging up this section with useless threads and misunderstood facts.

Thank you.

I agree. If you have an argument against evolution, at least have a researched and well informed argument. That's all I ask!

If what you are saying is, "Be informed before you speak." Then I disagree completely.

Each person, in his own mind before he speaks is an authoritative expert on anything and everything, as your statements prove.

The only way a person can find out that they are misinformed is by way of an intellectual exchange with another person.

I see forums like this, to be a forward evolutionary step in human intellect. Now you can discover how ignorant you are while anonymous. Think of all the people who might otherwise never find out.

Like you for example! =)

I agree that people are seriously misinformed when it comes to Evolution. Evolution shows that we have a common ancestor with monkeys, not that we evolved from them. Personally, I think religion and creationism are a little too sketchy for me. Besides, its coming to the point where science almost disproves religion. Of course, that won't stop people from believing its true, but...

girl..or boy, who's side are you on? Evolution is nothing more than contradictions. There are so many archeological evidences that contradict this theory. For example, GIANTS!! yes they actually existed and it is mentioned in the Bible, archaeological evidence of up to 36ft long skeletons. However Evolution teaches we microorganisms and evolved into bigger beings. Evolution as been proven to fail from time to time and that's why it still remains a Theory. There are so many other disprovals of evolution but you can make the search.

Typical bigot, bossy, Jewish, everybody's big boss right? YOU ARE NOT THE BOSS OF ME!!!!! You think you can come on here and limit freedom of speech and end debate with this tyrade? HAH! This isn't a question, it's a statement. Bad form! Oh I should just put on 50 lines of nonsense just to tee off. And you call yourself indecisive. What a jerk.

Yes... please keep your replies short. I especially like the lady who copied the entire FAQ (or whatever) from the Creationist Museum. If you can't write your own argument, DON'T BOTHER TO POST!

Seriously, read a book on evolution before you bash it. And I mean a scientific book.
