In the future may be technologies which enhance human capabilities, and allow us to do things we never thought possible. This would be acheived through either combining ourselfs with computer systems, or through genentic and bio engineering. In the resulting society, one could purchase skills they desired and then would have to undergo some type of transformation to get to this state. Would you change yourself like this? If so, what skill would you get? If not, why?

One evening Adam & his girl freind went to the cyber garden to take an exam. When the Dean wasn't around, Adam and his girl freind went on the computer to find the answer. The computer displayed a Window Icon and a Apple icon. Adam picked the Apple! Suddenly the Good Old Dean walks in and catches them, resulting in Adam and his girl freind getting kicked out of the garden.

Assuming we are of course only talking about women's clothing....
Bikini on the beach?
strapless dress out on the town?
spaghetti straps in the summer?
shorts in the summer? How long? how baggy?
What cloths are allowed to be form fitted what are not?
Are these rules applied especially for attractive women with very nice bodies?
If two different women, one kind of homely and plain, one very fit and attractive wore an identical outfit, with an identical cut, is it possible for one to naturally look more provocative than the other, therefore, be accused of not being "modest"?

He hasn't "Smited" George W. yet and he had us invade Iraq and kill 10's of thousands of innocent people. Oh yeah, we killed some Terrorists, but less than 10% of who we killed were Terrorists. The rest were innocent men, women and children. A friend of mine was in Iraq, they were firing at some fleeing terrorists and their gunner on top of their HummV was firing at them as they rounded a corner. His 50 cal cut a Man and his Wife in half and cut the head of their daughter. They were just standing on a street corner!

There was a recent post about a young woman who graduated in Nevada and had the microphone turned off during her graduation speech because she was thanking God for her success. Many Christians stood in condemnation of the school for turning off her microphone and said she had every right to express her "belief." Someone even said, if people don't want to listen, they didn't have to.

Therefore, I pose an alternative question for those who answered that question: What if it was a gay guy speaking about how his boyfriend had helped him in graduating?

Many people give thanks to their significant others during graduation. Would you same Christians that said this young girl should be allowed to speak her beliefs, be content listening to a young guy thank his boyfriend for his support? And continue on attributing his success to overcoming obstacles of being gay and having been opressed by Christianity? I'm interested to hear your thoughts on this point of view.

God is our only pastor. God desires that we all will be priest who serve our God. we are all brothers and God is our only father not the so called father or reverent. they put themselves equal with God. Jesus is the head of the church not them.

Now, I ask this: The Bible states that Jesus was crucified on Friday, died, and was removed from the cross around 3pm. On Sunday morning, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and found it empty - Jesus was ressurected. Now, Friday at 3pm to Sunday at 3pm would only be TWO days...but he was found to be ressurected in the morning...so it was closer to ONE AND A HALF DAYS that Jesus was "dead". Even if we include Thursday (the day he was jailed), as one of you suggested this was the time in which he said he would "be inside the earth" (presumably in an underground cell), we know that Jesus was arrested Thursday night. Thursday night to Sunday morning is still only TWO and A HALF days (at most), not three....
IS this not a glaring contradiction??? Does not the OT say that the savior would rise after three days??

If there is no such thing as a "greater sin," and God sees a sin as a sin no matter what, then why do we (a Christian society) condemn a murderer or a rapist while treating those who have extra-marrital sex as a member of everyday society? I'm not saying that an adulterer should get the same punishment as a murderer, but if we are supposedly setting up laws based on values and morals, then wouldn't it make sense to do so? I see this as a flaw in the "no such thing as a greater sin" statement. I believe there are sins that are considered worse than others. Let me know what you think.
