Great question! And yes, I do believe that people would form different opinions on two different shaped women dressed the same. A woman with no curves probably wouldn't even be noticed, but a woman with curves and large breasts would probably be looked down upon for wearing something low cut or provocative. Personally, I say, to each his own, dress how you want! I think we should all take a good look in the mirror before we walk out the door and we should all wear clothing that fits us, but I wouldn't base an opinion of someone's lifestyle on their choices of clothing.

IMO society sets a minimum standard and then we girls choose to wear either the minimum standard or a bit more. No matter what shape or size we are.
And I think the current minimum standard is too low and getting lower.
I think
- bikinis are fine but they should have a full bottom. no thongs
- tops should not enable a bra to be seen. If you can see thru the top why not just wear a bra?
- if you are not confident to wear a skirt with no undies then the skirt is too short. Of course you should always wear undies under a skirt but why do girls wear skirts that show off their undies when they sit down?
- strapless is fine, so long as it can stay up. Spagetti straps are fine to especially in a formal outfit.
- skirts and pants shouldn't be tight enough to show panty line

IMO...
bikinis on the beach are fine...but not really bare string ones. I wouldn't feel comfortable in one anyway. A strapless dress is fine...I think they're nice prom dresses if they're long at least. Spaghetti straps, i don't wear so much, but as long as bra straps aren't hanging out, it doesn't look so bad. Shorts definitely, I wouldn't survive without them! And I have to say I don't like any supertight clothes-they just don't feel good! Basically, I wear comfortable clothes, and for me that means not spaghetti straps etc, just because it's my opinion! But for other people, they wear what they feel comfortable in.

Women have lost the art of "mystery". So now when I hear women pining for romance, I can't help but smile. Look, if you want to be ogled at, wear those tight jeans that expose your pubic bone, wear those see through blouses that are open to your belly button. Hey, I'm not going to complain - I like the view. But if you advertise that way, don't expect romance.
Question, why do you find beautifully wrapped Christmas presents so attractive? They add to the mystery and excitement. And, when you unwrap them, you tend to do it more carefully. Women's clothes are not that different. If you cover your body in what seems like a couple random pieces of cloth, I'll just focus on getting rid of what's in my way.
Please, take your time, and add some mystery back into what's under the package. I think it will be more fun for both of us!

I totally agree with SLEE. How to dress is a personal choice.
I think many girls let others influence (or a better word might be "interfere") with what they would really like to wear. Since you, and only you, best know your body and what you feel comfortable wearing, I think it is silly to allow others to shape your decision. However, like SLEE suggests, you really need to look at yourself in the mirror to evaluate your choice. Sometimes I see middle aged women who have not been taking care of their bodies go out wearing a mini skirt. I know they surely didn't look at themselves in the mirror before they wore that outside, because if they had they would have laughed and taken it off right there!! (hehe). But other than your own self evaluation and self censorship, I think you should wear whatever you wish.

Modesty has a lot more to do with how you behave than how you dress. Some people will look naturally nice and class in anything, others will look tacky and cheap, even in the nicest outfits. It has to do with poise, demeanor and attitude more than anything else.

IMO - it's all to do with "right place, right time" Too many girls think that they can dress any way they please for everything.
