He hasn't "Smited" George W. yet and he had us invade Iraq and kill 10's of thousands of innocent people. Oh yeah, we killed some Terrorists, but less than 10% of who we killed were Terrorists. The rest were innocent men, women and children. A friend of mine was in Iraq, they were firing at some fleeing terrorists and their gunner on top of their HummV was firing at them as they rounded a corner. His 50 cal cut a Man and his Wife in half and cut the head of their daughter. They were just standing on a street corner!

someone has filled your head with alot of garbage about Iraq, Most likely the democrats and CNN, funded by arab oil. The USA has not killed 10's of thousands of innocent people . that is junk.....the terrorists are the one killing everyone. get your facts straight. Your friend sounds like an arab. do not believe him.

To fear god means to show him respect. and he might smite you eventually if you don't.

Fail to see where you are going with this beyond giving us your friends war story, war sucks, and for that matter so do you. You make a statement that we've killed thousands of civilians as if you have a clue. Nobody's going to dispute the fact that civilians have been killed in Iraq, by all parties involved. Get your head out of your A**.

We should respect God not fear God. God doesn't smite like the old days.God gives us choices. We as Americans and others have allowed Bush and company to do these things. It is our responsibility to take care of this mess. With free will comes responsibility. Be the change. Peace.

Whoa. He had us kill 10's of thousands of innocent people in Iraq? That's exaggerated to the max little fella. And, your gunner on top of a HummV cutting a man & his wife in half and the head off their daughter? Whose playing mind games and DISTORTING THE TRUTH here?! Not GW. That's bull. Believe me, it would have been ALL OVER CNN AND FOX NEWS. You lie.

I don't believe God will "smite" anyone "on request". Let's leave that up to Him. As for the fighting all over the world, I think that is more our doing, not God's will. Maybe if we paid more attention to God's words and his messages we (humankind) would not be so intent on taking over and taking away everything that is in existence. When are we going to stop "changing everything" to make it better? It's only getting worse.

They attacked us first. War is very bad, but it's life. Thousands of people died on 9/11. it sucks, but it's war. Why dont the terrorists put down their weopons and make their country a peaceful place. You can have a healthy fear of God, knowing that he is in control of your life.
He created us, but he also gave you free will. You can do what you want, but you also get what you pay for?

it's war and sh1t happens in war if you don't like whats happening in America move to iraq. If like you say why hasn't god smited george w. . maybe it's because he's doing god's will. all wars throught out the ages were mostly fought due to religious beliefs. god starts the wars humans finish it.

GOD is very powerful he can do. He doesn't like hurting his people and seeing them cry. Lots of people have wrong thoughts on GOD he's rea; and we need to believe in him more instead of man. Because he's coming to get his people soon, so we need to begin to rejoice in him not in Allah, the devil, or any otherreligion, being a christian is the way to go!

So you'd rather we just sit around and wait until the terrorists bomb the whole country, and millions of innocent Americans are killed?

It seems that this god is so vain and vindictive that if you do not stroke it's ego by worshiping it in a highly proscribed manner, it sends you to an eternity of suffering in the fires of Hell. This sounds like a highly disturbed creature that is hardly worthy of respect, let alone worship.
