why don't some people don't like to be called african american? they liked to be referred to as american. You are of African descent, so i don't get why it's bad to be still called African. My parents are directly from africa. I was born here so I guess I'm african american, right?

In Genesis 3:14 it says that God made the snake crawl on his belly because the snake lied to Adam and Eve.
After this "punishment" of taking away its legs, why is it that the snake has been so successful in adapting and thriving in this world. I guess God didn't know what he was doing and actually ended up doing the old snake a favor. He didn't slow the snake down at all!

Some of the so-called Christians on this board have been SOOOOOO wonderful to visitors of other faiths, that I' like to share tis parable with YOU:
A black janitor had been denied sitting in the front row of an all white church 4 many yrs. It got 2 the point where he broke down crying.
Suddenly Jesus (SAW) appeared & asked "What's the problem?"
The janitor explained.
The prophet laughed & said: "U souldn't be at all dismayed about that"
The janitor was puzzled: "Why not Lord?" he asked.
"Well now, this church has been here 4 3 yrs. now, hasn't it? And I've been trying to get in these pews myself with absolutely NO success!"
You figger it out, & know that this is the face of Christianity you are showing to everyone who visits here.

1. if you were to describe the universe in two ways, creationist as in biblical reasoning and in terms as of the big bang theory with the subsequent evolution of theuniverse. how could you combine the two in a manner which can be explained with ten words or less?

Once again I am seeing the bottom of the barrell being scraped on yahoo answers. I see closed minded christians trying to shove their beliefs in the faces of others. I see athiests antagonizing christians with innapropriate questions that are vulgar and rude. And of course there are those out here to actually have a decent discussion. And a few gamers looking for points. So I actually have a couple of questions. 1. What good are you producing by shoving beliefs at people?(religious people) 2. Why is it necessary for you to bait believers?(atheists) Why are either of you actually here, other than to gratify your own ego.(selfish to the max) I know this ? does not apply to all out here. The people it is directed at know who they are and will probably just blast away an answer for two points. But if someone is actually honest ....well....ya never know.

and all moments we go through just keep reapeting over and over and over again till eternity...Also that our future us already happening right now so we cant really change whats going to happen because its already happening but we can't see it because we are stuck in our one moment? and even if we die we still live in other moments so we are only dead in one of many moments and so we stay alive forever....

I was raised Baptist and one of the things I did not like nor understand was why the minister felt the need to yell at the congregation. This is called "preaching" as opposed to teaching. Personally if someone is yelling at me I either want to leave or tune him out. Why do they yell and why things like "You are going to hell!"?

In order to be a 'logic based' atheist (opposed to faith based one) you MUST believe in the multiuniverse theory. Also, you must believe there are more universes than the number of subatomic particles that exist in our universe.
NO SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE for the multiverse model exists. The physics of our own universe requires that we will NEVER be able to obtain evidence about any other universe (if one does exist). It will ALWAYS be based on FAITH.
Saying theres only one universe, says this one is 'finely detailed' and has a master CREATOR. So the 'Big Bang' Theory is a Hope, not a hypothesis. The Mutiverse model based is a HOPE, science requires a hypothesis, which we cannot do.
My question is, what do you think about this my atheists frenz :)
