Some of the so-called Christians on this board have been SOOOOOO wonderful to visitors of other faiths, that I' like to share tis parable with YOU:

A black janitor had been denied sitting in the front row of an all white church 4 many yrs. It got 2 the point where he broke down crying.

Suddenly Jesus (SAW) appeared & asked "What's the problem?"

The janitor explained.

The prophet laughed & said: "U souldn't be at all dismayed about that"

The janitor was puzzled: "Why not Lord?" he asked.

"Well now, this church has been here 4 3 yrs. now, hasn't it? And I've been trying to get in these pews myself with absolutely NO success!"

You figger it out, & know that this is the face of Christianity you are showing to everyone who visits here.

I do agree with the story...Many "Churches" have taken Jesus out of the church. They are so commercialised and their priorities are on other things.
Not all churches are like that though. Thankfully!
You can't say that all Christians are like that, and you cant say that all churches are like that.
I've been to many churches.some I dident like, others I did.
The Baptist church I go to now welcomes me with open arms.

The people you are talking about and the churches you are refering to are lost, and are not following Jesus Christ or they would put JESUS first.

Some of the Christians I've met on here are some of the nicest people I've met, who are kind and compassionate. They are spirit-filled and God-loving. They have been great friends. They are the true face of Christiaity, because they are living by the Word of God. they are living for Jesus Christ.

The truth is that Church is for the sinners, Saints don't need church. There's a big difference between Religion & Spirituality. Spirituality is a knowing, Religion fills a need to find others who agree with you, and justify your belief !

What? I mean, I'm not sure if you're putting down Christians or not. But I don't really understand what your point is. Christians are very good, I promise. But some don't listen to people as well. (I'm very bad at that. We're just concerned about other people.)

I see what your saying. Back in the 60, a lot of Americans would never have let a Jew in to their house, but they claimed to be Christian, well Jesus was a Jew.

here is another one for you. in a national geographic documentray about madina and haj, a south african black muslim was denied sharing tents with arabs because of the colour of his skin but an american white muslim was allowed. racistism is everywhere. what can you do about it.

i think it's a little harsh to automatically group all Christians that way. I find that no two are ever alike

I've always said, any church that would accept me is immediately suspect. I like your parable. Peace be with you....
