Every year in school the teachers ask if I would like to be called something shorter since my name is long-ish. Should I keep everyone calling me Adrienne or pick one of my nicknames? If you think I should get a nickname please look at the details.

My nicknames are:
Ade, Ad, Addie, Aer, Hoshi(ko) and a lot more. I personally like Aer and Hoshi/ko the best. (Hoshi is star in Japanese and Hoshiko is my middle name.)

I think if you are asking on Questions you really don't have a preferance. Assuming that is the case, I say your momma must've liked the name she gave you. So use it :-p

Ask the teacher to call you by your given name. So what if your name is
long. They probably wouldn't want you to say... hey teach, what's for home work...

I think it would be easier if you let people call you "Adi" (pronounced A-dee or Ah-dee but the second one makes it sound like Audi)
