i agree with u. maybe thats cus i am a muslim, but everyone should conduct a small experiment. go thru ppl's yahoo history and see who gives polite, respectful answers. we say peace be upon him after prophets' names and never disrespect them or Allah. they're usually muslims and they let u know. when u have truth on ur side u dont need to worry about others converting to ur religion. our job as muslims is to educate ppl about islam, not to push them into it. we also believe that Allah has the power to convert everyone in a second, but that would not be fair to those who CHOOSE to follow the religion and educate themselves. this life is only a test. its very short--whether u live a decade or a century. it all ends in the end so u just have to protect ur faith because we will all be judged for our actions not others'.
peace :) May Allah guide u because u seem to be getting the facts straight in this media based society.

Thats not true. Hummm Yeah both have goods and bad. Like someone said above me, that some muslims crashed planes into american towers. Not needed at all. Cough cough. But christians are not perfect so yeah. Its just a thing of who the person is and not the religion. Because you could like go and be and every relgion and just because your in a certain one is not going to change you. So yeah its who the person really is and not based on relgion.

Religion is a powerful tool. It steals the faith of a person, and once it's tamed, they will do anything. Not all the Muslims in the world think crashing planes into buildings is the right thing to do, but not everyone thinks the Christian's crusade was right either.

Here the question is what you are favouring. I live among majority Muslims. Every one of them have principles to speak but not to live (even I could not a single person among them). They speak peace and on the other hand they rejoiced on 9/11. If this is the sign of a peace loving community, they are that.

Most Muslims I've dealt with are nice on the surface, but have a few problems: Some of them are sneaky and have no loyalty to you as a friend; they can do whatever they want to you and it's no big deal to them, but God forbid you do something to them, now they are the "victims" and want revenge. Never mind what they did to you; they always want people to feel sorry for them. On the bright side, however, they are less aggressive upfront than Christians.

Muslims have inner peace and external harmony with the world. It is important to know who is God and what is His wisdom because this will answer all your questions and is very important for happiness. With the concept that all people are equal as humans and only on the basis of good deeds they should be classified, justice and prosperity will prevail and evil will vanish.

The reality is that it is not fair to judge a religion by the actions of its followers alone because there are good and bad followers in every religion. The correct thing to do is to judge a religion by its documented revelation from God and the prophet who brought that revelation.

I have known Christians and Muslims who have been grounded and who have treated me well. I believe they are about the same.

Generalizations are almost always unfair and inaccurate. I've known some delightful Muslims, and I've known some that are jerks. Ditto for our Christian brethren. Volkswagon is right; stereotyping is stupid. Peace be with you...
