In order to be a 'logic based' atheist (opposed to faith based one) you MUST believe in the multiuniverse theory. Also, you must believe there are more universes than the number of subatomic particles that exist in our universe.

NO SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE for the multiverse model exists. The physics of our own universe requires that we will NEVER be able to obtain evidence about any other universe (if one does exist). It will ALWAYS be based on FAITH.

Saying theres only one universe, says this one is 'finely detailed' and has a master CREATOR. So the 'Big Bang' Theory is a Hope, not a hypothesis. The Mutiverse model based is a HOPE, science requires a hypothesis, which we cannot do.

My question is, what do you think about this my atheists frenz :)

an atheist has to believe that there are like as man subatomic partlicles on earth equal to the amount of universes out there besides this one to be logic based atheists...Because to only believe in One universe means you believe this one was not at all as Extremely random as it was, and as extremely Finely detailed as it is. There must have been more than one in order to be logical, or else you would think this one was made by a master creator...i dont know how to explain this further?

I'm not following your logic. Let me piece together two statements:

"In order to be a 'logic based' atheist (opposed to faith based one) you MUST believe in the multiuniverse theory."
and
"NO SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE for the multiverse model exists."

You are saying that in order for an atheist to be logical, he must believe in something that has no evidence? That makes him religious.

I won't defend the Big Bang Theory. It's an interesting concept, but I won't claim it is what happened.

If you can explain why an atheist must believe in the multi-universe theory, then your question could be answered.

Edit: I just read some of your details, if you can call it that. Once again, you are dictating what atheists believe: "an atheist has to believe that there are like as man subatomic partlicles on earth equal to the amount of universes out there besides this one to be logic based atheists."

If you're going to argue with a false premise, then you win. You can prove anything if you begin with a false assumption. We cannot argue with you if you refuse to acknowledge that atheists can and do live life not believing in the multi-universe.

I will say this much, though. You're not too "deep" for us. Just because you make up your own definitions that don't mesh with reality does not make you "deep." It just means you can twist words around and try to "prove" your point.

There are people that can admit they don't have all the answers... people that realize that no one has all the answers. Just because a person comes to a conclusion about the existence of God doesn't mean that person has to come to a conclusion about the origin of the universe.

An atheist has only one requirement to be an atheist - he or she does not believe there is a God. Period. An atheist can accept the Big Bang theory, or the multi-universe theory or (s)he can simply not draw any conclusion about those theories until there is more evidence.

An atheist is not required to be a skeptic - an atheist can believe in supernatural things and in things for which there is little or no evidence - and as long as that person holds that no God exists, that person is still an atheist.

Any conclusions he or she comes to about anything other than the existence of God are entirely individualized conclusions. Atheism does not have tenets or rules. They simply do not believe in God.

Uhh, I think this is you stretching science to 'prove' there is a God. I see no science and no logic.

It makes little sense, but I'll bite, why does there being one universe prove it must have been 'created'?

Answer that my little confused Christian friend.

>> an atheist has to believe that there are like as man subatomic partlicles on earth equal to the amount of universes out there besides this one to be logic based atheists <<

Hmm, but I'm an atheist and could care less if the amount of particles match the amount of universes. In fact, I don't know *any* atheists who care about such a thing (or even believe that it's true). Maybe I'm not following you though. You sure think you're saying somehitng profound.

It's not about hope, faith or belief. It's about an educated guess based on the data at hand. Physical data is not some old book written by people that thought the world was flat. Why do you have no faith in the human ability to figure out the world around them. Why do you think science will not be able to figure out the secrets of the Universe? We may never be able to figure out the Universe, but that is not the point, it's the journey we take to figure things out, that make us who we are and make the quality of life better for all. If you think science is so deficient in it's ability then why do you sit there using a computer and walk around on your cell phone. Who is the hypocrite now. Maybe you should go live with the Amish. I don't mean to sound belittling, but can you see my point, there was a time when people thought the flesh would come off of your face if you went more than 60 mph. That is ridiculous, but thank goodness that people didn't take that belief at face value.

Most Christians believe in the Big Bang, they just call it day one or something else. That is how God created the universe. It totally fits with everything in the Bible. A sudden surge of energy. The only difference, in the atheist version there is no guy shouting, "Let there be light." So why is this a challenge for you?

As for telling people they have to believe in a multiverse model or some other made up thing, Christians have been trying to tell atheists what they have to believe for a long time now and it doesn't seem to be helping your cause any.

It has been stated many times before me that there is also no scientific evidence that backs religion.

I must let you know however that there are many hypothoses regarding this which you say we cannot do. (refer to the links below that I have posted)

If I were you I would not bring your physics questions to others attention until you can argue your point fully. Do you even know what a subatomic particle is? Or what makes up a subatomic particle? Did you know that they are still picking up echos from the big bang?

All of these websites will offer you many things on which to try and build your case on. Until such time you should not post things like this. We are out of the realm of faith and near the realm of proof and reality. That is more then can be said for your god. This theory is the theory that will bond Einsteins theory of relativity to Hawkins form of metaphysics. Even Hawking himself has said that this is a very promising field.

"The physics of our own universe requires that we will NEVER be able to obtain evidence about any other universe (if one does exist). It will ALWAYS be based on FAITH."

This quote you will find fundamentally wrong when you visit http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/elegant/.

Thank you and have a nice day.

And for the record I thought I would put this into context since we have a very loose grasp on what atheism truly is. Straight from the Websters College Dictionary:

Atheism: n The doctrine that there is no god.atheist n atheistic adj.

For one, most atheists don't believe in the big bang theory.

Two, in order to be a 'logic based' atheist you DO NOT have to believe in a multiuniverse theory. Atheists believe in there being NO GOD...that's the only MUST. After that they all have different theories for how this universe came to be.

And where is this said requirement that we will never be able to find out more than we already know? Science has no limits.

I'm a Christian and I agree. another point about the Big Bang Theory is...
According to science, there was a HUGE Hydrogen ball that exploded, causing gasses to swirl untill they formed planets, suns, moons, etc.

1. Where did the Hydrogen come from?

2. Hydrogen can't burn without an oxidizer (Oxygen)

3. Hydrogen and Oxygen can co-exist togeher withought combuston. Who lit the match?

4. Even if Science is right and there was a Hydrogen explosion, the ONLY thing that results is water vapor.

5. if somehow planets did form from all that water, they would be steril, since bacterium couldn't have lasted through an explosion of several thousand degrees.

6. As hard as science has tried, they are still yet to get a protien and and hydrocarbon to bond into ANY form of life.

Sorry but your question misses the mark.
in the big bang theory there was nothing to start with but somehow two objects collided( mabey one positive and the other negative or both the same polarity)where did those two objects come from if there was nothing before the big bang. and it does not leave out other universes being made . their is a model for the multiverse in place . wormholes and blackholes may be the entrances to them.
turning to the bible precreation stories .when the universe we know was created it says. god spoke and the word was god. what kind of noise was that(the big bang?). we can only guess with the limited senses that we have. we have created instruments that suggest that the universe is stranger than even our ancestors thought.

Why must you believe in a multi universe theory?

I mean that's almost like believing in God.

It's believing in something you can see, taste, touch, smell or prove.

And if there is a multi universe, then maybe that's where Heaven and Hell are? The Garden of Eden.

Athiesim is about not believing in a supreme being, however logic dictates that there are possible other "people" in the universe and some are older and wiser and more technologically advanced than man. Those people are superior or supreme to us!

Man is on the threshold of cloning and creating.

Athiests are supposed to be practical people. Multiple universes we can't see, can't prove, can't photograph and can't measure are practical?

I would strike me it's easier to blieve that a God or supreme being or someone far above man exists!

Is it practical to believe WE are the center of the Universe and there is nothing out there greater than WE?
