I went to a well known place that sells tires, and after spending some time time figuring out all the details and paying for my new tires, I ask the guy how long he thinks it will take. I'm not trying to rush him, I just want to know if I should have someone pick me up or just wait. He says 45 minutes. I figure I'll wait. Well almost 2 hours later it's done. I didn't really care how long it took, but I didn't want to wait for 2 hours. Was I wrong to be peeved?

I see this answer a lot on this forum. "I'm proud of God".

Let's assume He exists. Let's also assume He's an omnipotent Being. He can do anything, without any trouble. He knows everything, without having to think. He hears everything, without having to use ears. He sees everything without having to use eyes.
He can make us believe the unbelievable. He is omnipotent.

How can anybody be proud of God?

I can see how somebody could love God, or respect God, or fear God. But pride? For an omnipotent Being?

That's like calling someone "hey you" or calling them by their race or ethnical background instead of by his name. Of course the creator is a god, but he has a name. Why do you want to hurt his feelings? Look what happened when they hurt his feelings back in Noah's day? He killed millions including drowning children and expectant mothers. Don't make him loose his temper like that again....he throws one hell of a mean temper tantrum. The Bible says it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of some angry god.

this question has plagued me for a long time, because in high school i dated a deaf girl, i would alway's wonder how she would make her intentions clear to others of a different countries, with the language barrier. any idea's besides writing them down.
