Respectable colleges have whole systems set up to make sure that you CAN'T cheat on your exams. Me, I go to a college that favors written essays, oral reports, and research projects over exams, so the question becomes kinda moot at that point.

No, I left that behavior back in high school. I was paying for my own education in college, so I'd only have been cheating myself out of an education.

absolutely not, its not worth the risk of getting kicked out of school, plus if you are going through the effort of trying to cheat then your better off putting that effort into actually studying and learning.

1) it could have gotten me kicked out of school
2) as an engineer, I needed to LEARN my classes, not cheat through them.

No! I was in fierce competition...with myself!! Cheating would have totally ruined the joy of getting good grades!!
