I work for a Catholic organization and I design book covers and set up books (mostly religious books). I am setting up a book right now and was reading a paragraph that states that "In vitro fertilization depersonalizes sex, along with birth control, abortion, and various other sexual sins, is wrong." Well what about the people that have a hard time concieving? Could something like this really be wrong?

I've gotten a couple of remarks from Brits on this site, probably joking, but I can never be too sure, about how Americans are always desecrating the English language through the use of words like "y'all", "aint", and "gonna". Is this just a friendly jab at us (which I believe), or does this actually annoy people?

I am a college junior in California, and so far i have taken a few years of Spanish and that is all. I want to learn other languages in order to expand my options of working abroad. Any ideas? What languages will be most useful in doing non-profit work in developing countries (i don't know which yet)?

I'm always unsure what to do when I'm with a group of people and a lot of people are coming in and out of a building at the same time. Should I hold the door open for the women and then go in myself, or should I hold it open for a group of people and then go in? Also, are people supposed to leave before other people can go in? If someone pulls the door open is it rude to walk in?

This happened to me the other day: I got stopped at a stoplight, and behind me pulls up a car blasting it's stereo so loud that it was causing physical pain in my ears. I couldn't turn or anything, so I had to sit there with my ears in pain. I looked behind me, and the car was being driven by two tough-looking bald white guys.

I sent an email to the police about this, and it was ignored.

So what would you do in a situation like this?

Also every religion has there own beliefs, so why do christians say others are wrong when they could easily be the wrongs ones...all religion is based on written text, all religions have no right to say the other is wrong, because there is no real *logical* proof of any.

Specifically my reading of it is that God made Adam told him the rules and then made Eve.

Are we to think for ourselves on this one, and conclude that Adam told Eve?

Seriously, its not in there, I don't see it, I don't see where God or Adam told Eve the rules.

What i am saying if there was a great flood and it rained for 40 days and 40 nights the water from the oceans rose and caused all of the earth to be completly flooded by salt water right? So how is it that we have fresh water lakes and spring water lakes and river, how come they are not salt water mass?

When driving on the motorway, or even driving in general do other road users not follow the highway code? I drive just as fast as everyone else so not dawdling or holding up the traffic. However when you leave a gap someone drives straight into it. On the motorway no one follows the old '2 second' rule and quite often the person who has pulled into the gap is practically on your bonnet. Causing you to brake. Any thoughts?

In reality I have heard whites come in the black chatroom just calling black people ******* and the they have come to take over the room. Asking stupid question about why we eat this? and do that?
Trying to make us as black people fel lesser than we are. It is hard for alot of "people" in this world. I even know white have some problems just like the black. As we all trying to make the most out of life, but they act like they are suppose to be the only ones here.
Why can't we as blacks, and the way we life be left alone?
Some whites it is not funny and games to them, but it is hatred. Allwe wanted was freedom, but they pick and pick. Treat us like outcast, because the color of our skin.
What make them so much better, and we have red blood.
Slavery time is over!
I love white people and they are special people (children of God) just like we are. Why we can't love me just the same.

Racist people this not for you (all racist black too) thank you
