I'm an atheist (or infidel if you prefer) and it seems that I am more informed about the christian religion then most of the christians I run across. It seems to be that way for all the atheists I know too. How can someone believe something so blindly and not know a thing about it?

I'll keep it simple. Goodguy 's go the Heaven, badguy's go to Hell. So the first part i get, but Satan, Devil whatever he is, he's representing EVIL stuff, so actually he=Devil suppose to give badguy's (downthere in Hell) theyr own Heaven for being so bad on earth. So, it's more likely that goodguys burn in Hell, because they deserve (in eyes of Evil) the punishment, don't you think?

As an atheist, I believe that there is no supreme being as the religious-minded folk proclaim. However, this does not mean that the seat is vacant. Can a machine with infinitely greater capacity to receive and interpret information from a near-infinite amount of input sources serve as the equivalent of a godly intelligence which we as a naturally intellectually-limited humanity choose to serve?]

If this is the case, is there room for worship of a machine-god whose might and glory have yet to be realized?

From my understanding the Orthodox religion varies slightly to the Catholic religion in a few Canon Laws and holidays...(I believe those are the only discrapancies). For example a orthodox priest can have a family if he is ordained after he has a wife and christmas and easter are a week or two apart. The religions at one point were the same until they vered because of distance among the locals...any insight to why or how they vered off? please do not copy and paste any long documents...just a straigh forward answer...thanx

Not because they are having genuine problems, but because they can't be bothered getting out of bed in the mornings and being supportive and caring parents? Maybe they've been on the booze the night before etc...When they are confronted by the Local Authority for ruining their child's future, they scream victimisation becuase they are prosecuted. This question applies to UK system.

I am not including the genuine claimants on benefits, just those drunken louts that sit about all day watching TV and causing chaos in the neighbourhood. Some have never worked a day in their lives despite being fit and healthy and their kids perpetuate the tradition of tax payers supporting them by having millions of kids and expecting us to support them. This has become an accepted British culture.
