why does the gay community always knock on the christians, religious, straights, people against gay marriage, and others?

ok, sure these people are commonly seen as the attckers of the gay community, but think about this

a lot of gay people ARE christian or religious. a lot of straight people support the gay community. a lot of people against gay marriage are not against it out of hate, but they just feel that homosexuals would do better off with civil unions (you have a better chance making civil unions equal to gay marriage then trying to get gay marriage).

and knock on any other people? if any of these people crack jokes at you, make fun, pick on you, go against you, or anything else, the best thing to do is ignor it and move on

striking back only harms both sides and the side seen as "against gays" isn't even completely against gays.

what do you think? agree? disagree? plz explain why

So which is the correct version of this fable?

The order in Genesis 1:
Day 1: Sky, Earth, light
Day 2: Water, both in ocean basins and above the sky(!)
Day 3: Plants
Day 4: Sun, Moon, stars
Day 5: Sea monsters (whales), fish, birds, land animals
Day 6: Humans (apparently both sexes at the same time)
Day 7: Nothing (the Gods took the first day off)

*Note that there are days, evenings and mornings before the Sun was created!

The second one, Genesis 2:
1.Earth and heavens (misty)
2.Adam, the first man (on a desolate Earth)
3.Plants
4.Animals
5.Eve, the first woman (from Adam's rib)

I'd like someone to prove to me that their god exist, since the burden of proof is on the claimant. Rules; This could be any god that has been claimed throughout history, not just the christian god. Just "believing" or "having faith" will not be accepted as proof, since all it amounts to is an opinion, nor will any books(bible/koran) written by human beings, also opinion. The compexity of human life, or the vastness of the universe will not be accepted as proof. Belief, books, and life itself are not proof of a god, unless you "believe" it is. If you think wishing works, then good luck.

God’s flesh was known as Jesus.
Jesus, God's Flesh, died at the cross.
Flesh & Blood cannot enter into Heaven per (1 Cor. 15:50-56)
Jesus was Flesh.
Jesus no longer exists

Jesus is called Jesus because of the attribute of Flesh.

If Jesus = God (who is spirit) then the entity known as Jesus ceases to exist. The flesh/body of Jesus, no longer exists and the spirit of God is still the unchanging spirit of God. No Jesus at that point. The Flesh, called Jesus, is dead.

Everything you say has a flaw in it So did Jesus have to die on the cross to protect us from his dad(God)what was he planning for us if his son hadn't have died?Would God have killed us all?If so why? I thought he was forgiving. The more I look at thi the more confused I become. If you answer this explain your answer logically not just saying "he died for our sins" I dont get it expain it to me like I'm from out of space

or suppose maybe your child was kidnapped. wouldn't you then get on your knees and pray? all i'm saying is that we are usually unable to prevent tragedy entering our lives. why not realise that you will need Him some day, at some point, and show some respect, dont store up trouble for yourself by biting the hand that feeds you.

does it not make sense?

or are you sure it wouldnt make sense in one of the scenarios i listed above.

I know he has like almost a gazillion answers but I left this message on his question:

I don't know Bono, but if you don't mind me saying so, I sure do think you are sexy. Maybe if we were all like you there would be no poverty? What do you say? Give it a try? Can I be the first one that you explore this option on? :)

Do you think that I will get BA?

(a) People who consider themselves to be christians by reading the bible inside-out and who then feel obliged to dictate its message to others (like many of the people here on Yahoo Answers), and who can recite psalms until they're blue in the face?
~or~
(b) Someone like ME, who doesn't follow a religion (I don't need another label thanks), but who works hard to do well in life, help others, and appreciate every day that I am alive?

Why is it not considered racist to deny white American's access to most scholarships? To do this is to believe that white's are not equally deserving of the right to an education.

I offer a scholarship ( http://www.daylon.com/scholarship ) and I'm willing to bet somebody would complain if I were to add being white as a requirement for being awarded.

Does anybody else have a problem with race being considered when deciding scholarship eligibility?

Why would god bother to have created all that he did. It can't have been to test us because we weren't created. If he just wanted souls in heaven, why not just make them and not bother with all the problems that goes with humanity

Let me Give special thanks to Rev J.D.D that “Mr. Mister” so graciously pointed out.
I appreciate that you have your beliefs, & though you don’t agree with mine you understand they are mine to have.

& “Mr. Mister” it’s not Miss Atheist, its Mrs. Pagan to you, thank you kindly.

Now adays i hear alot of people saying that the immigrants are taking over our country! have we forgotten that the forefathers did the same just 300 years ago? How would you feel if someone put u in a concentration camp, then exterminated your people like animals. Then they put their flag in your country, and acted as if God gave it to them? How would this make you feel?
it happend to hundreds of thousands of Indians!!

THis country belongs to no one and everyone. This is the way it has to be, for the sake of JUSTICE!

We can control immigration, just dont think of or treat any immigrant like an animal. You have absolutely no right!..
......God bless

I have a recurring dream:

I get a new car, I'm in a foreign country like Turkey or somesuch place. I park the car and go wandering. Next I get chased by a gang of Arabs shooting at me gung-ho style with AK47 machine guns. Luckily I have the powers of Spiderman and escape to safety, by which time I forgot where I parked my new car. By the time I find the spot where I parked it, somebody has nicked it. As a result, I wake up every morning rather pissed off.

Should I seek mental therapy?

I'm trying to cut down on clutter, so I'd appreciate any advice. I'll say straight-off that the bible's a little too disorganized for me (no table of contents/index); I've heard the Kamasutra has all kinds of practical advice (not just about sex). Any suggestions?

LUK 3:23 And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli.
