While those murderous hoards of greedy invaders tried to exterminate the proud peoples of the America’s First Nations …… they did not succeed in carrying out their terrorist goals ……… as Indian’s Country’s communities are still viable and our people are continuing our fight for our own independence and freedom. Our women are beautiful and strong of will, mind and spirit and our men are intelligent, brave and true. Some people like to act that we no longer exists and have no voice in this supposed democracy.

Well, I know how to spell hypocrisy. It's not hypocrisy to take something and work to keep it. That's called winning. By your logic, it would be hypocritical for me to score a touchdown (or try, or goal. pick your favorite), but not want the other team to score. Certainly there are human rights concerns, but they have nothing to do with how americans obtained the land. All land that is occupied and kept is done so by groups employing their ability to occupy and keep it, on every continent. There are no natives left. The English took their land from someone, the french, the germans, that doesn't mean they don't have the right to defend their borders. It also is worth noting that the indigenous tribes at the time Europeans arrived had all gained that land by taking it from other tribes. So i guess they were hypocrites too. Far more important that trying to guilt a nation out of self preservation for the sake of some sort of odd form of "justice" is making sure that in all cases, Mexican Immigration being only one of them, the rights and dignity of humans is respected. But that doesn't mean people cant oppose each other.

Yes, you're right.
But it's not a new thing by any means... It's been going on in this country since it's inception, and at various points, many different countries were picked upon. Now, it's Mexico.
But on the other hand... people in the United States would have to give up their quality of life if the US just opened it's borders. And maybe you would say that's what they should do, but would you honestly expect any people anywhere in the world to open their borders if throngs of people wanted to get in?
The US tends to get a lot of negative press because of the whole "give us your tired huddled masses" business, and it's reputation as a land if immigrants, but compare it to any other country in the world. As a people, Americans (meaning people from the united states,) are probably the most culturally accepting anywhere in the world.
It's not an easy problem, but I think the real problem here are jerks who don't think before they tirade about "damn Mexicans" or "damn gays" or whatever. America does not have the most stupid citizens in the world, but it certainly has the LOUDEST stupid citizens. It frustrates me too.

You are totally missing the point when it comes to the issue of unlawful immigration.
The point is not that immigrants are unwelcome here. The problem is that in this country it is a cultural no no to take cuts to the front of the line.
The problem with the U.S. southern border is that immigrants who are taking cuts in line are not refugees and they are not waiting their turn to enter.
Some refugees, especially from Africa and Asia, have to wait as long as seven years to enter this country. Most of them live in circumstances even worse than Mexico's economy. People from places like Burkina Faso, Chad, Mozambique and Sri Lanka are waiting in refugee camps years for their turn to enter. But Mexicans can just hop over the border and get a crack at the good life.
There is a difference between immigrants and refugees. Immigrants pay their way to this country. Refugees are sponsored by nongovernmental organizations to get them out of dreadfully dangerous, poverty stricken, civil war driven countries.
The humane thing to do is to set up refugee camps on the Mexican side of the border and have those people wait their turn to enter.

I completely agree. Unless you are a Native American Indian, then you came from immigrants, so sit down, shut up, and deal with it. I'm not saying take down the fences, and just let everyone run on in, of course there has to be some type of order, but immigrants are what this country was filled with to begin with, and in some way, we are all immigrants.

One important factor you neglected to consider is that when the waves of immigrants came to eventually make up this contry, they didn't come illegally. Back then, there was really no immigration laws. They broke no laws.
The illegal immigrants of today, knowingly broke our laws and came into this country.
Those two are completely different circumstances.
I imagine, by making your statement, you were talking about illegal immigrants. Yet, you only said "immigrants."
I ask that you'd make clear distinction between legal and illegal immigrants.
Part of legal immigration process is that the person must posess jobs and he must declear himself, self sufficient. He also must declear, under oath, he will not become public burden. He is checked by FBI to verify he has not committed any crimes. He will swear that he will honor and protect the constitution of the United States.
I know this, because I went though this process myself.
What we need is a rational discussion of our problems, not emotional ones. Although intentions were good, the original question misses the mark.

My family hails from England on my Mother's side and are Cherokee on my Father's side. My Great-Grandmother was a full-blood Cherokee. That's an interesting mix - historically speaking. I'm well aware of the persecution, slaughter and attempted genocide of the Native American people.
However,
It seems that you might be confusing people's frustration of ILLEGAL immigration with the type of immigration that my Mother's family did. The same LEGAL type of immigration that my brother's wife did from the Phillipines and my other brother's wife did from Hungary. Or that my Cousin's wife did from China. Or that my friend did from Bulgaria and my other friend did from Poland and 2 of my other friends did from Mexico. Or that my next door neighbors did from India.
All true.
And all of these people understand the frustration - BECAUSE THEY FOLLOWED THE RULES!!!

MY family was on the Trail of Tears.........It has been forgiven many many moons ago....
The natives nowdays, go, get an education and go right back to the res and never use it, taking a good education from others.
NONE of my ancestors came here ILLEGALLY...on the other side...It took blood, sweat and tears for them to leave their beloved Country and families.
This Country belongs to me and other Americans and no one else...don't give me that crap...
I love all races, I do not care who comes here. This is a great land and everyone wants to be an American...except Mexicans...they want dual citizenship, free handouts and our taxes pay for them.
I agree w/the first post who said long as they pay their taxes, etc...fine, they are welcome.
Otherwise, don't drop a kid and say he is American, he is still an illegal to me.
Learn our language and memorize our civics. Work, do not take one dime of Welfare or Health and keep your communities clean....

No one is saying to treat immigrants like animals. However, if you come into this country illegally, why should I pay to have you fed, clothed and taken care of? Things were tough in your country? Well, join the club! If you come into the country legally, welcome! Do your part to be a good citizen. Vote, work hard, pay your taxes, and learn the language. That is all that we ask.

I know what you mean. I'm not an immigrant, but it's gruesome on how people get ridiculed on how they want to come to the U.S.
I don't know why Americans critize people who only want to escape from the oppressions of their home country to come to a free first world country. It sickens me, because I have friends whose parents or grandparents came out here in the last twenty years having to face going back to the country they came from.
It's rascist.
