I'd like someone to prove to me that their god exist, since the burden of proof is on the claimant. Rules; This could be any god that has been claimed throughout history, not just the christian god. Just "believing" or "having faith" will not be accepted as proof, since all it amounts to is an opinion, nor will any books(bible/koran) written by human beings, also opinion. The compexity of human life, or the vastness of the universe will not be accepted as proof. Belief, books, and life itself are not proof of a god, unless you "believe" it is. If you think wishing works, then good luck.

God does not prove. Scientists prove. The two don't mix. Either you belive in God and all the Truths (take the Bible literally,) or you belive in science and imperical thought.

Beliveing in God is a great thing, but it's funny when people try to reconcile it with science. Often anything someone hasn't taken the time to learn about must have been made by God. "Just think about it! It makes sense! How else could the moon exist?!"
But, if you ask anyone that studies human biology, or astronomy, they can easily explain how the earth was created, or how the complexity of the human eye DID easily evolve... rather than having God be the anwer for all the "hunches" out there.
Anyway, proving God is not the point. It's like proving love. It's just because.

I've heard an interesting theory once about proving that God exists, not using the Bible/Quran or any other Holy book, but just by using your common sense... bare with me:

Imagine I'm showing you my mobile... it is a Nokia mobile with a camera (this is not an ad!).. Do you know where I got it from? I went down from home this morning, I saw it growing between the grass of my garden... will you believe me if I said so?

If not, then I'll tell you where I really found it... it was growing on an apple tree, so I just picked it up, pressed some buttons and heard my friend's voice from the other side... will u believe me if I said so?

What if I told you that millions and billions of years ago, with all the possible cosincidences that could have ever happened, it turned out that at this specific moment in time at this specific location the coincidences led to me having this mobile phone picked up from a tree... would you believe me?

Logically speaking.. of course not! Why? Because you know that this mobile has an engineer that made it.. it looks in perfect shape, it is charged with batteries, it is connected through a
network to other similar mobile phones, and if any of what I said was missing it wouldn't function... oh, and it has a camera!

Let me ask you something... what is the mose sophisticated camera in the world? is it a 20 megapixel camera? or let me ask you, what is the most price pump in the world? yet again, what
is the most sophisticated cleaning system in the world? You want answers, they are the eye, heart and kidney, respectively.

This mobile phone is trillion times simpler than a human being, and the network that connects it with the other mobile phones is trillion times simpler than the network connecting the human
being to the earth (the life cycle as you know it)... imagine coincidence creating not just man, but each and every animal and plant in the universe.. imagine coincidence creating a universe where if the sun was few inches closer to earth we would all die from the heat.

If you couldn't believe that coincidence led to making this silly thing, than it is only logical to see that this universe has to have an engineer.. a GOD, who made things so price from the
creation of this whole wide universe to the location of the atoms within the tiny cell.

I hope this gives you a better idea about GOD... any questions feel free to email me.

The Holy Quran answers this in many ways. First of all, it has many miracles including the detailed explanation of the stages of embrology, which is proof that this book could not have been written by a man 1425 years ago, and the leading embrologist in the world, Maurice Bucccaile became Muslim when he read this. Second of all, if there was no God the world would be in chaos, no natural laws could exist, they can't make themselves. Think of it this way, a clock can't run on its own, somebody must have made it so that now it runs. Same with natural laws of the universe, God made them, they did not just happen. How else would they run in an orderly way, and who chose that order for them if there was no control from above? Just the fact that you can't see God doesn't negate His existence, communists failed at proving this when bacteria, which cant be seen with the naked eye, was discovered.

Sure. The fact than anything exists is proof that nothing has ever been the state of existence, for it is logically impossible for something to come from nothing (remember, nothing means no space, dimension, or possibilty). From this we can posit that something has always existed. That brings us to the usual crossroads in this debate: either god has always existed (and created the universe) or the universe has always existed (independent of a creator). In either case, God is a certainty. Let me explain:

If you argue that the universe has always existed, you must also argue that the universe is infinite, because at no point in the physical universe can something and nothing co-exist (i.e., if the only thing that exists is a basketball, what's all around the basketball? Nothing? Infinite, dimensionless nothing containing a finite something?? Impossible.)

If the universe is infinite and eternal (space and time are one, remember) then presumably it has been doing its thing (whatever it is doing now) for an infinite span of time. now, look what the universe has done in the last 15 billion years? It created you. The universe is pretty predictable and deterministic, so if it created life once, in an infinite span of time how many times did it create life? Did all of those life forms die out, or did some of them evolve way beyond the stage we are at and figure out how to live forever? Maybe we had a race of super scientists that learned, over the span of a trillion years (thats nothing in an infinite span of time, mind you) complete mastery over the universe.

God as a super alien? Not so far fetched is it? Using your own precious concept of evolution? It really wouldn't even change our definition of God because in a universe without beginning or end how can one say that the creation of this super alien scientists did not happen an infinity ago?

Just keep two things in mind, if you remember nothing else: the universe is inifinite and infinity is the sum of all possibility. (in other words, in an infinite span of time, all possibilities WILL be realized). So, where are we now on that infinite timeline? Towards the beginning or towards the end?

Mwa ha ha ha! Bow down to your space brothers! Mwa ha ha...

Yeah - There's a ton of proof, but have u been looking in the right direction?

1. The earth - Who could have created this place except God? The problem with evolution is that the big bang couldn't have possibly have created this beautiful earth.

2. The bible - It's not a lie. Jesus' apostles and followers were told by God what to write, and they did. It's not just some fairytale like some people think.

I felt the same way that you feel now - Where is GOd's proof of existence? but then I realized that it takes faith to believe in Jesus Christ, and once you do, you will see that he really is real.

God Bless You!!!!

Direct physical evidence of the existence of the God of the Bible is scant at best. There is a video titled "Moses And The Red Sea Crossing" which shows the place where the ancient Israelites crossed the Red Sea. At the bottom of the sea are ancient Egyptian chariot wheels encrusted with coral. The video also shows the true Mt. Sinai, which is in northwestern Saudi Arabia. The entire top of the mountain was scorched black in ancient times. Above and beyond such things, any evidence of the life of Jesus could qualify, as well as the existence of the Bible itself, and the existence of the Jewish people.

God will never be proven, because the logical underpinnings for belief are absurd and melt in the light of empirical, fearless searching. The idea that "the complexity of human life" would be proof for the existence of god only points to the lack of humility that is implicit in accepting the pie-in-the-sky. Unfortunately for most objective scientific minds, the converse of this also hold true; god cant be disproven either.

Proof that the Christian god exists!

(1) Doesn't it just make more sense that an all-knowing, all-powerful, all-good deity created the world out of nothingness, from magic, essentially, and then punished us for eating a piece of fruit, and then incarnated himself in human flesh and came down to shed his own blood so he could break his own rules, and then went through hell on a temporary basis and then went back into the sky and promised to come back and take everyone who believed in him to this heaven no one has ever seen?
(2) Well, doesn't it?
(3) Therefore, God exists.

There is none, but scientists have been able to prove some of the existences written in the bible. I personally think the bible was written to reflect the views and opinions of the King that had it written.

It's pretty clear that the god Aten exists. Just go outside on a bright sunny day and look for the solar disk.
