I myself am not going to make a judgment on that either way but it is very clear in the Bible, if you believe it, that being attracted to the same sex was wrong. God loves everyone. Jesus hung out with prostitutes and other people who no religious people would have anything to do with at the time. I don't think that Christ would ever ban gay people from his Church. I think that "banning gay people" from Christianity is absolute blasmephy.

I do not believe any Christian Church would ban anyone from coming to Christ. It is not what we like or dislike in life, but what we do. As followers of Christ, we are to transform ourselves away from our sin and live Godly lives.

A man once walked into my office and the moment I saw him I disliked him. Not really sure what it was, I just knew I had an overwhelming urge to stand up and punch him in the face. I didn't do it. It would have been wrong and there would have been consequences.
