When this government was created, it was designed to serve and protect it's people, but the government was infiltrated, so now the people serve it's government. They lie about everything and keep the sheeple in fear in order to maintain power and control over them. Most folks don't realize that they are property/slaves of the government, and that this country is a corporation not a country. Citizens/people are their assests by way of birth certificates and SSN's, our parents unwittingly volunteer us into slavery or economic slavery. This country is ruled by the international bankers for the most part.

You'd get less answers if you asked if there's anyone out there who thinks they have not been lied to by governments

Of course they lie to us. Otherwise the "enemy" would know everything too. To protect us? I suppose so.

If you found out the truth behind everything, I think you might end up getting all f*cked up and nearly killed like Fox Mulder at the end of the X-Files.

Global warming might be the end of us all, each year summer is hotter, the seasons are all out of whack. Nuclear testing?

Are we related to monkeys or aliens?

Is there a limitless free replacment for petrol? And if they found it would they tell you it was free and limitless and give you it for free? Would they hell.

Is AIDS man made? Probably

The list goes on ...

I hate to respond to a question as poorly written as this, but.....
Yes, starting with our own government and every member of theG8.
It isn't as simple as a huge conspiracy, though; many small hydras in govenments' employ seek their own agendas outside their chartered missions and powers. These interact with each other and conflict with each other, and the only thing you are going to see on FOX News is the aftermath.
Look at the history of our own government: (justified) rebellion, (unjustified) slavery, (unjustified) genocide, (unjustified) class differentiation, (unjustified) warmongering, (unjustified) gender relations... andonandonadnon.
Let me ask this in return: why WOULD we trust our government?

Politicians lie as a matter of course. It's referred to as "social engineering". Truth is all down to perception, and perceptions can be twisted quite a lot. This is especially true where money is involved.

Absolutely! The government thinks people are far too stupid to comprehend what they do - all we are are tax paying cattle.
