of their job (morticians. war journalists.doctors......etc) get burned out quicker or some can separate their feelings ?

I deal with death quite a bit, although not as much as morticians or some. You learn to detach and cope. Many undertakers and morticians know some of the worst jokes, but it's a way of handling it all.

A friend of mine used to help out in his cousins undertaking firm; he was a very sweet lad and had just developed a sick sense of humour. Like anything, I think people develop coping mechanisms; I don't think this qualifies as burnt out though, just human :)
