binladen is an odd person, with an odd group ?he did things that all muslims disagree with.islam is the religeon of ethics ,we have whats called war ethics which was applied on ground for more than 1400 years befor geneva agreament which no body applies!!
so islam doesn't agree on the killing of even a single civilian regardless of his religeon or race.nowadays muslims are the ones who r suffering from what binladen did.hundred of thousnad of civilain muslims have been killed by the execuse of binladen!!!this pushes more to believe that he is not more than a US agent!

I work in a thriftstore in Leamington ON which is run by the Mennonite Central Committee. We are a non-profit agency and all staff and management are volunteers. Our store is frequented daily by Mexican workers who come to our agricultural area for employment. I am asked constantly for spanish/english and english/spanish dictionaries. The odd one does come into the store which is sold for 50 cents. It would be nice if I could find free dictionaries to pass out to these workers. I would even be willing to pay a small fee and pass it on to the workers at the priced I paid. If anyone can help me I would truly appreciate it. Thank-you. linda

I know about the urban myth that Pepsi refused to put 'Under God' on their cans.

But wouldn't life be much better if every cola brand would put those beautiful words on their cans? People seem to get truly upset at pepsi cola.

I truly wonder why, by the way. The bible clearly states that being over weight is a sin. Why would God even wanna be on a cola can ? Or should He be only on cola light? And doesn't Coca Cola have more affiliation with Santa then with God anyway?

I have spent a significant chunk of my life waiting in line behind someone who has ordered a ton of stuff at a drive-thru. Aren't those things supposed to be for quick in-n-out purchases?

As we develop technology, reach new milestones in physics, gain a better understanding of our universe, and develop technologies to access what seems to be mystical...will the need for god be replaced? Will science prove or disprove the existence of an omnipotent spiritual being?

I read some answers to the above quote and what caught my attention was that they answered somehting like: "Me? In hell? NOOOOOOO, god loves meeeeeeeee, you go to hell!" So I am asking if god is love, why in the hell it invented the hell? Just to manipulate you to believe in god? "You have the free will to love me, but if you don' t believe my religion, you'll go to hell", isn't that hypocritical?

Is God/Allah/YHVH/Satan/Vishnu/Odin/Zeus/Jupiter simply different cultures perceptions of a singular higher power? Or are they all gods in their own right, but somehow coexisting in our plane? Is all mythological and spiritual belief merely different peoples relating to the same natural world in their own way?

Last year I went to a Muslim Country where I met a radical Muslim
who seem to hate everything American--but He told me that he prayed to Allah so that Bush come to power second term. Then he gave a very shrewd smile. I didn't ask him anything more.
What do you think is behind his wording.

I just read a question about the Lord's Prayer that asked about the Lord leading us into temptation. The prayer asks the Lord not to lead us into temptation. Why? It doesn't ask that the Lord give us the strength to resist Satan's leading us into temptation. What's the deal.
Please do not quote a lot of inane scripture and give lots of goofy speculation. WHAT IS THE HISTORY OF THE PRAYER? Was the phrase a blunder?
