I think the truth to that Pepsi story is that they were trying to arrange a sponsorship deal with God that fell through at the last minute - you know, contract issues, monetary disputes, etc. Pepsi had to settle for David Beckham and Britney Spears, and God had to cancel his 2006 North American Tour because of lack of funds... It's all a bit tragic really. You can see why both parties are trying to sweep it under the table as a so-called 'urban myth'...
As far as Coke goes, the artist formerly known as Gravesendian can tell you all about that - the Holy Trinity of Carbonated Beverages is as follows:
God = Coca Cola
Jesus = Minute Maid
Sprite = The Holy Spirit...
This is why Coca-Cola won't write 'under God' on their cans - it implies a position of inferiority as opposed to duality and equality...
You don't have the Holy Sprite within you... This is why you can't understand...

God doesnt say being overyweight specifically is a sin, dont mix being overweight and gluttony. So how can you say the Bible "clearly" states this, I would like to see a verse to back this up please.
And people get upset about this kind of stuff because being religious is no longer politically correct. You cant even say marry christmas without trouble in the workplace.

It's Dr Pepper that didn't put "under god" on their cans, somewhere along the line somebody replaced Dr Pepper with Pepsi. The Pepsi part is the urban legend. Those are some horrible, horrible words my friend.

Dude, you're warped. God has nothing to do with Cola ... Big American Greedy Corporations do.
Toodles
P.S.: God is man's attempt to explain the unexplainable - i.e. the world's biggest urban legend.

um what?!
why the hell should God be on advertising. he is god. we are his subjects. if ppl wanna serve him great. if not, i dont want it on my beverage.
i applaude the ones that serve and go door-to-door (eg, mormons, Jw's) they at least are making it their life and a part of worship
but coca cola ISNT worship last time i checked. when coca cola gest into church, there is something wrong. whats next, tootsie rolls?

Somebody is spineless.
The removal of God is the removal of blessings and protection.
Our nation better wake up and open there blind eyes. Another 911 is bound to happen if our nation continues down this road.

Seriously. What does God have to do with a drink? It doesn't matter either way. And for that matter, why do coins have "Under God", since money creates greed, ROFL!

I was thinking that the phrase should be tattooed on every Christian's chest, then when you go to motorcycle events you could yell, "Do you believe?" instead of "Show me your ****."
