Do some of you really believe that Bono thinks globally, and that he doesn't have funny white fluff in his belly button? Or that he doesn't care about it if he does? He probably spends more on his belly button than most of us do on our mortgage. Sorry cherachi1985, I know you were just winding me up, but this is a website for NORMAL people to ask NORMAL questions. I detest the notion that BIG people ask BIG question and get BIG responses. "How can we make poverty history?" may be pertinent, but it is a really BORING question. Don't perpetuate inequality.

I love your question. My first response would be to write a lengthy novella for you just to prove that you deserve a long answer just like the famous people. But, since I don't have the answer to your question, I won't. I do hope you realize that after all the "famous" questions I have read, your question, by far, is more thought provoking. Keep asking. I'll keep answering.

sorry it has taken 17 hours to answer your question people must have been writing their answers to the big bono boring one. I think some famous people like to prove they are just like the rest of us and this site is an ideal stage ... I mean platform for it. Helping to promote the end to world poverty is a good and proper thing, I'm not sure what he hopes to achieve. Well we are both sitting at our computers discussing it so maybe that's enough..just ot think ..someone has the answer!

They don't if they are intelligent enough to accept a short criticism.
However, many of our much loved celebs' can't display that capacity. It is for this reason that the answers they are given are often drawn out and somewhat tedious. It remains that the answer must be repeated again and again within a mind-numbing conversation or text until it sinks in, allowing them to stumble over yet another enormous mental breakthrough for mankind.

Because the questions the famous people ask on here are about BIG ISSUES, (like, "How Do We Save The World"). On the other hand, the questions many of us ask one another here, though possibly very important to US, are pretty trivial on a global scale........ Such questions as: "Should I pick the white stuff out of my belly button?", or "Do you think my GF likes me as much as I like her? (hehe).

There are famous people on here? Huh...never knew that. I though the "Al Gore" person was just some guy who said he was Gore, and who was really just a HUGE fan or something, or got his information off wikipedia.
But yeah--they do it to get noticed by the person.

FAMOUS? You have to be kidding. There aren't any famous people in here.
My master left the system running while he went to a movie and my answers are just my paw smacking the keyboard as I scratch fleas.
FAMOUS, what a concept.

Colini - does this mean that Bono isn't about to find my telephone number somehow and leave his wife for me?! Well, at least I know now... :0)

Well, I answer a question just as I see fit. It doesn't matter to me who asked it but whether I feel that I have something worthwhile to say about it. So in answer to your question - they don't get really long answers from me so I do not know!

Because they are famous. Personally, I think that Bono's question deserves long answers because it is a "thought-provoking" question.

Well, people probably think that if they are really thoughtful and impressive that maybe the celeb will contact them or publically refer to them. It's kissing up to the celebs.
