As we develop technology, reach new milestones in physics, gain a better understanding of our universe, and develop technologies to access what seems to be mystical...will the need for god be replaced? Will science prove or disprove the existence of an omnipotent spiritual being?

I don't even think that human will lost to technology.

Human is a created being. And yet, human is created in the image of God. That means there are alot of likeness between human and God.

For example: Technology doesn't have soul; That is to say it doesn't have mind, emotion, feeling, ambition, and will.

Technology doesn't have spirit either; It cannot understand the wisdom of God. Only human can. That is to say it doesn't have faith, trust, believe on God. It also cannot hope or love.

When logic fails, technology usually fails too, because it is very dependent on it. Human on the other hand can still function when logic fails.

For example: when a man falls in love to a woman, logic fails!

When someone believes in God, some of the logic don't stand a chance.

Sometimes ,what seems to be contradiction in logic, human heart clings and trust God anyway. It is not blind faith, but a spiritual eyes that can see beyond five senses and can trace -- goes forth to reach out.

So, in short, God will never be lost to technology.

Studying the universe doesn't give us the answer to the great mystery - what the hell was there 'before' the universe? Forget about god and concepts -- even time and space don't have meaning without a universe -- the mystery of existence itself can't be resolved via our standard human consciousness and its endeavors. Scientific inquiry can help but it can't ultimately resolve the mystery. It's why people have used methods to go beyond the dualism of the bifurcating mind and get an experience that transcends the concept of the self (it's called enlightenment).

Technology and science only prove that God exists, or do you think that all life is the result of an accident that somehow came to make complex beings?

I think everyday there comes more of a need for spirituality. There are many things in science that can't be explained. I think technology plays no factor in the belief of god. People will always believe what they want to believe. If people don't want to loose their faith they won't

No! God blessed us with the gifts of science and technology. In the end it all will prove that God IS.

Science proves everyday that there is a God

The proof is in his absence. It's been a long time since any seas were parted. So, hopefully one day people will stop looking to primative belief systems for answers.
