Some western cultures seem to have a lot of weird misconceptions about Africa. Like when I told someone I'd gotten to ride a motorcycle while visiting family, he was all surprised to learn that there were cities and cars and stuff there. And he believed lions roamed the streets and people lived with them. Don't people realize that Africa is not like that? There were civilizations in Africa before Europeans "discovered it," and they don't all live in huts or walk barefoot. Why don't people know anything about what Africa is actually like?

-If God created the Universe and species evolve naturally on lifebearing planets, then are aliens in higher densities not interfering with God's plan by seeding planets with DNA and genetically engineering intelligent species? Where is the line drawn? Humans manipulate their world endlessly, creating artificial summers in which to live, sustaining genetically defective offspring and encouraging them to reproduce, spewing poisons into the air and waterways, and decimating species into extinction. Are they not interfering with God's plan?
If God's Universe generates intelligent, conscious species within whom incarnating spirits spark and thereafter stay whole from one incarnation to the next, then clearly we, who are here to seed planets and are in the process of genetically engineering man's next leap forward are here because this is part of God's plan.

do you think that age of consent laws are outdated? in recent months i have seen at least 3 court cases in my area where 18 to 30 yearold men.,... and one woman in one case.... were seduced by underage persons (the 'victims' admit the sex was consentual) but still get charged with crimes off statuatory rape and so forth because the kids' parents find out and get mad. what do you think? isnt age of consent in some countries like aged 14? doesnt that make more sense?

I asked the question cuz I was wondering if God would be trying to make me humble through this new job I got where I do heavy lifting full-time. Its my first job and I was expecting part-time, but they dont have part time at that job. I'm making a couple of rules about answering this question - you MUST have read the entire book, cover to cover, and you MUST have prayed to God about it, to ask Him whether or not it is a true book (for those of you who haven't read it, it promises the reader that he/she will know it is true so long as they pray to God to sincerely know). I know this is shallow, but how many times have you had sex with the same person without knowing their name? Or not being sure of their name? Or thinking they are named "X" when they are really named "Y"?
Maybe you ran into them at the same gym, or other location, more than once . . .

I'm really bad with names, so I have a partial excuse, but . . .

This is meant more as a humorous question, so don't get all preachy about sex in general, please. Anyone who has sex these days needs to take their own precautions and not rely on others, no matter what they say. Be responsible.
