For ex: I asked the other day a ques about slavery, got jumped all over about who really started slavery, I never mentioned that OR this other guy asked why we abbreveate and gave an example, people startet telling him what the example meant NOT why they abbreviate. Why?

People really don't read well. And they really don't understand most of the stuff they've memorized. They're not exchanging ideas, they're testing for rank in a relationship.
