i dont believe that any human being can live without love. when we are kids we crave for the love of our parents, and when we grow up we need the love of a partner. i have noticed that even an animal becomes happy when its loved.
am i right?

In the earlier Gospel of their book of mythology, Jesus is on his cross with two men mocking him. But in another Gospel, written 20 years later, one of the men asks for Jesus's forgiveness.

Why did the later author change the myth? What advantadges does this have for their cult? Why was the truth not allowed to stand?

Some Jews and Christians claim that the praised graphical pornography in the Bible is actually a conversation between a husband and his wife. They know well that claiming otherwise would bring total shame to the gospel of porn, because of the (literally) x-rated and low-life graphical pornography. What if The Bible is just a 'beginner's manual' for humanity, and as tiem porgresses into new stages we will recieve more truthful, and more complex (hence the waiting period) revelation explainig the will and nature of God?

Is the Bible really all that perfect, it was divinely inspired--but mortally created. Is it not therefore going to be superflous eventually?

I see that the bible speaks of a second coming, but if the rapture theory is right then obviously we are talking three times, be Him on the air or not. So I would have to figure that this whole rapture thing has credibility problems. Besides, why should Christians be spared and not stand out for the Lord on the toughest of times? It seems that this taking away is very contrary to what Jesus did and what He would expect us to undergo. Flying away like chickens? I don't think so. Should not we make the ultimate sacrife for Him? This is a unique american phenomena as I can't find historical evidence for it either from Catholicism or historical protestantism. Escapism is not the way to offer ourselves as true Christians, rapture is a very comfortable solution for our very comfortable lives. Literalism has taken fundamentalism and exposed it as light Christianity suited for our lifestyle.

Jesus condemned the long and repititious prayers of the Pharasees who attempted to "be heard for their many words" ( Matt: 6:7). Yet in this parable Jesus encourages incessant prayer of those "who cry out day and night" to God (Luke 18:7). These passages seem to be in conflict.

What do you think this means? Tell me your opinion.

Do you pray? If/when you pray, what is your favorite praying style.

since day one people worship the higher being: God the Creator of all (although with different names). Some people worship spirits.

How come there're atheists now? I feel like bunch of them are just people who got disappointed at God. And duh - that means they believe in God. It's just that they're in the "pouting" mode right now. Even Nitsche said "God is dead." indicating that he knows that there is God but he just thinks that he is dead. Which further indicates that there is God.

Opinions?

I just wanted to know what anyone here would say if they were posed a question like myself as to why you are confined to a wheelchair. Most of the time, it is little 4 and 5 year olds asking me this question. I surely cant tell them my disability because they wouldnt understand what it meant. So, can anyone give me a short and easy answer to give to little ones whom ask me why I am in a wheelchair?

Why do you whistle and honk and yell at women while you are driving by them on the street? Do you expect us to stop and talk to you? Do you not realize that you will pass by and be gone in about 2.3 seconds? And, why do you do it while your wife and/or baby's momma is sitting right next to you in the passenger's seat? Do you think she can't see you breaking your neck trying to stare down the street at us?
