How in Christian mythology did God create the world?

In Christian mythology, 'God' just said do it and it was done.

In reality, everything that "is" eternally always "was", but in different forms.

What people refer to as "creation" is the blending and conversion of elements that have always existed.

We are all starstuff, we are all metamorphizing and evolving. (Some faster than others, apparently.)

It depends on how you define mythology. Christians believe that the creation account of the world in the book of Genesis is a real story and not a fable. It is a myth in that it is a story, but it is a true story that really happened.

How is another question. The creation account appears in poetic form in the first chapter of the book of Genesis, and has a theological intent, not a scientific one. In other words, its primary intent is to tell you who created the world and what it says about God, not the how of creation.

The second chapter seems to tell the same story but in a narrative form, and any differences in the order of created things there can be attributed to the possibility that the first chapter had a different intent theologically rather than being inaccurate, which it isn't. In reading of any historical document it should be assumed that everything written was as intended and try and make sense of it from there. Errors can be assumed only when it's obvious in context.

Read the first few chapters of Genesis to find your answer, but note that it will not answer the how of creation so much as who created it and how it was intended, etc.

It is not 'mythology' if you have faith. According to Christian belief God created everthing through his Word. "In the beginning was the Word. The Word was in the presence of God, and the Word was God..."

Put another way God willed everything to be, which is why He is God.

I would be very gatified if you would stop hiding behind the myth word and just be a curious person. There is no shame in wanting awnsers.
