The word of God is man's pathetic attempt to understand the Glory of God. The words of the Bible, Torah, Quaran, Vedas, etc. aren't even a shadow of a glimpse of a peek of a reflection aways from the glory of God.

The word of God is what He/She tells you when you ask sincerely for guidance or help. Try it; ask for help with the next problem you are faced with. Clear your mind and listen. If the idea that forms in your head is loving that is Gods word. If it is fearful it is the ego pretending to be something it's not. You may be surprised how easy it is to hear.

The 'word of God' is contained in the bible. It is what God speaks to us, and what he says is contained in the bible, and conforms to his character. The bible itself is words on a page. But when the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit brings something in the bible to light to a person, that is when God speaks.
Usually when people use the term 'the word of God' it refers to what God says. Sometimes people use it to mean the Bible, but that is not technically quite true. Basically 'the word of God' means the sum of what God says through the bible and not the bible itself. Sounds nitpicky, but it matters at times when it comes to certain issues. It means we don't worship a book, but we listen to a person who speaks to us mainly through a book (though by no means only through a book!).

The Bible. Although men did write the Bible, the words were God inspired.

It is what vain people say when they are pretending to be God.
Example:
"The WORD OF GOD says that we should hate sin. And the WORD OF GOD defines sin as (whatever the God speaker hates)."

the word of YAHWEH is the old testament, or the torah, which is the same thing. if you want a literal answer to the question, then, anything in the old testament that starts as "thus said YAHWEH. or anything where the almighty YAHWEH, speaks in the first person.
