America apologized for slavery, Germany apologized for the Holocaust. Countries have been brought to task over their wrong doings through out history.

So at what point should we expect victims of such crimes to forgive?

Should it be never or should it be when that generation has past?

Of course one should never forget! We should learn from those times so we do not repeat those horrors. However, when is it time to forgive those responsible, to forgive those nations, to forgive the world?

At what point must victims move on so progress can be made?

There are many many wonderful religions that teach about the creation of the world. Should they also be allowed time to share their believes about how the world was created, about the creation of man?

Should the person who believes a flying spaghetti monster created the world, should his view be given time? It's his religion, his believe.

would you be willing to sit through and respect prayers from other religions to be equally led in the schools? For instance, would drums and inscense offend you? Would a prayer to Allah? Would you sit respectfully through a prayer to a goddess? If not, why and why should others have to do so for Christian lead prayers if you will not do so for theirs?

Why is the letter W pronounced as "Double U" when it neither starts with D nor does it resemble the letter U at all when if anything it looks like two v's placed next to each other? Every other letter in the english alphabet has a name that represents the short or long sound it makes except for W.

Why not call and pronounce the letter "Wha" or something or to parody the existing name such as, "Wubblewoo?" It's such a simple question it's mind boggling that no one has ever pondered this or desired for some educational or languistic authority to correct it.

In the movie Alive, a plane crashes in the Andes and the rugby team that was on it have to survive without food for a really long time, several months. They eventually had to eat the dead to stay alive. The film was based on a true story and I was just wondering how many of you think that you could 'stomache' it. I would try, I know that. By the way, it's a great flick if you haven't seen it, starring Ethan Hawke, worth a rental.

...people have the tendency to act all "know-it-all" and make you feel stupid when you ask a question you don't know the answer to? Everyone knows something others don't - so what's the point of putting someone down just because they don't know something you do? It's friggin' annoying!

Like for example, if you ask "What's the capital of China" and they act all obnoxious and go "How can you NOT know the capital of China!?? What are you, stupid?"

Like, wtf? How can you determine what makes a question a "stupid question."

I ask this question respectfully, in both the Old and the New Testement there is discussion about slavery being a legal institution. Therefor God thinks that this is something moral and ethical.

I understand what has been said here about how it was "humane" and it was people who owed a debt, but we in the last 150 years have as a trend as man gotten away from slavery. Have we replaced our own morality in place of Gods?

Has there been any ramification to the planet Earth since we got away from that - the morality of God - of slavery?
