ICE = In Case of Emergency.

You put a number into your mobile phone called ICE.

If you're incapacitated, whoever helps you just rummages for your phone and flips through the numbers until they find one labelled "ICE", then calls it.

Apparently the emergency services think it's a great idea.

Forget about proving God's existence. First prove your own existence. people of all faith are welcome.

let me remind you all one thing. Seeing is not a proof. A truth is not necessarily seen by Eyes.

There are things out there which our senses dont percieve but it does not mean that these does not exist.

You cannot see bacteria's and single cell organisms before the invention of microscopes. But they did exist and were part of truth.

You cannot see air

You cannot see sound waves

What we see is not necessarily true. e.g Illusion. If you see image of Moon in water bowl, that does not mean that there are two moons. You see Mirage. but that does not mean it exist.

How can you prove that you exist and you are not just an image or perception. ?

I tell people I am Mormon, and they say they hate mormons. I ask why? And they just sit there with a dumb look on their face, like they don't know why. Is it just straight ignorace? Or have their parents screwed them up so they can't think for themselves? OR is it society?

After all, both prevent a child from being born right? So not having sex is just as bad as having an abortion in your narrow little minds.
See where this brand of slippery-slope "logic" leads to?
Leave the thinking to us and stick to your book of jewish mythology ok?

If there is no guiding force outside the drive to survive and reproduce, what confidence can I have that even my own thoughts are not the product of the survival/reproduction drive?

Ex. A caveman has a belief that sabertooth tigers are friendly and that the appropriate display of friendship is to run away and hide. His belief seems to be false, but his behavior would produce survival.

There are many more belief-behavior pairs possible, and it seems to me that if evolution is true and there is no God who is guiding our minds toward truth, then we should remain agnostic about the truth of our beliefs, including the belief that evolution is true.

Thoughts?

He was very active in the Old Testament, no working in mysterious ways there, it was pretty in your face. Where has He been since? Looking at the 20th century and present day, we sure could use Him now.
