Is there some sort of empirical evidence that proves one over another?

Most problems in this world are created by people who want to prove that their religion or their country or their economic ideology is better than others.
Religion is not about 'my dad can beat up your dad!' it is quite opposite. Those who want to prove that their religion is superior don't know the first thing about religion.
Organized religions should try to be servants of humanity, not masters.
Christians say their massiah was God's only son; Jews say they are God's chosen people; Muslims say that their prophet was God's last prophet and all in thier Holy book is the final deal...I am sure Hindus and Buddhists also have some way or other to claim superiority....its all bovine excreta...
Just refuse to accept superiority of any organized religion over rest of humaniry...

I always wondered about this, too. Pretty much all religious writings have a section that says "This religion is the only way", and that's the argument people use to prove their religion is the right one. I'd be curious to see how many answers you get like that; "mine is the right one, because the Bible/Koran/'Holy Writing of My Choice' says so".

Other than the internal Holy Book argument, I don't think it is possible to prove this one way or another. If somebody would only SEE Thor throwing those thunderbolts, then this age old question would be resolved!

Empirical evidence on a topic that has no physical evidence? Not possible.

Consider this: Christians say that we are all created in God's image. This means we are all a "shard" of God so to speak. So how could any honest expression of spirituality, regardless of the form it takes, be wrong?

In my years (47 and counting) I've learned there is no absolute right or wrong - in anything. It's a continuum and where a given thought, action or subject falls on that continuum is purely a personal choice, a judgement that in itself may be right or wrong.

In matters of spirituality look to yourself for anything else is only someone else's interpretation.

Faith only. If i see fire, i will plead, yell, request and beg people around me not to jump in it. Similarly if i have faith in God, prophets, angels, Heaven and Hell i will do the same to invite others for the better life after death.
But its all believing in unseen, for the satisfaction of a person like me, i suggest we have to study all the scriptures, the life of the persons who passed on the mythology with care and analysis so that we can not get trapped to any addition made by human error or deliberation.

first prove it to yourself then have trust and faith in the god of your understanding and the moment u do that u will start respecting all the other religions. that is where the need to prove your religion the right one will not mean anything.

All religions seem right to the people that believe them. But they can't all be right. Therefore there's a ton of people worshiping the wrong deity. Would they still maintain their beliefs even if they knew what the "right" religion was?

I don't feel I have to prove mine is right to anyone. I believe it and have a testimony of it. I will let the Lord's spirit "prove" it if tested.

Best religious works is helping the orphans, widows, etc... The root of this work needs to be love. To me, God is Love. We love God because He first loved us. We love others because He first loved & forgave us & sent a propitiation for our sins (1stJohn 4:10,11,12...).

The fruit of God's Spirit is Love, joy, peace.... (Galations 5:22) (Philipians 4:8). There is no law against these things. Love is patient, kind, not jealous; love does not brag, be proud, be rude or selfish. Love is not provoked or dwell on wrongs. Love does not rejoice in unrighteousness (lies). Love rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.

Proof is in the action(work) when it is rooted in Love. You can't see love, but you can see others doing things because of Love. You can't see Love, but you can feel Love. If One doesn't Know Love, One doesn't Know the author of Love.

You absolutely cannot prove a concept that is based on faith. That's what faith is. It's belief in something with no factual proof.
