Abortion is murder, it is killing an unborn baby in the womb of the mother, that child is a living, breathing, human being, even though it has not yet been born. Scientists have proven that in the womb the baby does actions that born babies do, like suck it's thumb. You said that not having sex in the first place is murder; absolutly not. I'll tell you why, before sex, it is only an egg, it has no resemblance to a human at all, it has no characteristics and it's not alive. The male's sperm, which carries the genes of the man, and the woman's genes are what make the qualities of the baby that comes from the egg. Not having sex keeps this from happening, so the egg stays an egg, it stays a non-breathing, non-living egg until you have sex which puts the qualities into the egg and therefore creates the child.
God created sex to be between one man and one woman, WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF MARRIAGE. So if people didn't sin by messing around before marriage and breaking God's precious commandments then this horrible subject wouldn't be out in the mind's of unbelievers looking for a reason to try and disprove God. God has His commandments and He expects them to be kept, of course it's impossible for a human to keep them, but that is why He sent His one and only son to die for the sins we commit. ( For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life...John 3:16) Okay say that i got pregnant and had an abortion, just then i went against what God has in mind and against what He says, 1. I had sex before marriage, not within the boundaries of marriage, and not with the one God had chosen for me. 2. I committed murder, by having the abortion which destroys one of God's creations. Now, if i didn't have sex in the first place this wouldn't have happened, even though not having sex prevented the baby from being born it's not considered murder because there's nothing to kill, the egg has not gone through the process of becoming a fetus and then a baby.
The process in which the doctors perform an abortion is horrible, they either starve it to death, or use something more drastic like cutting off it's head. Having an abortion is no different then waiting for the baby to be delivered and then doing harmful things to kill it. It is no different. I'm sorry if you think this is a slippery-slope, but to us Christians, it's as hard as rock, abortion is murder, period. And no offense but if we left the "thinking" to you guys, then this world would be far worse off then it is already, you guys would screw it up more with your foolish thinking. And just because i'm curious where did you get the "Jewish Mythology"? That is not true, the Bible is no myth, it is absolute fact that you have chosen to reject and i'm sorry to say that if you continue in your sin, you will go to hell, there is no other alternative, God will judge you and find you to be without His son and you will be sentenced to eternity in the Lake of Fire. Us christians know what we're talking about, you might try to open your mind and try to listen for once. It's your choice what you do with your life but God wants nothing more than to have you in heaven. God Bless and may He open your heart.

No, it isn't. A child doesn't exist at all until conception occurs. If that doesn't happen (for whatever reason) then it's not abortion and not murder. That's really quite a simple principle, and not at all prone to misinterpretation unless you intentionally try to twist things. Do a little honest thinking yourself, ok?

This is not a good question. Christians define abortion as murder because the child is already in existance in some form.
A better question would be, "Why don't you have funerals for a miscarriage?"

abortion kills a developing child, not having sex is letting a cell go through its natural cycle. it grows to maturity then leaves the body.
what you are saying is like saying an old man dying in his bed of old age is the same as shooting someone in the back of the head. which its not!

I believe that not having sex is not murdering because the baby hasn't already formed. Abortion is when the baby is alreay formed.
